I repeat; it is a nonnegotiable, and Christianity falls apart when you take that foundation stone out. And again I also repeat; your protestantism is showing.susannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4404498638452030181.post-88116870297567807852017-05-23T18:15:45.214-07:002017-05-23T18:15:45.214-07:00I noted with concern the criticisms of the America...I noted with concern the criticisms of the American media by those in the LEFT (liberals) when the President Trump campaign was in full force. The media was feeling the heat for TALKING about Donald Trump at ALL. This worrisome movement toward news blackout as a method of censoring the opposite side, making sure they didn't even have a place at the table, was a black cloud coming over the party of fascism. What liberals can't control, they now censor, speech, news, candidates. Next time around, in American politics anyway, you won't even hear about the Republican, except his imaginary sins or crimes. Dangerous people, these. God provided the man, no doubt, because his highly charged personality made him irresistible. They had to talk about him.
But I digress. It's the same thing as ignoring a March for Life in which thousands of people participate. Didn't happen. Talk about it even more, on social media.
I just went to a pro-Trump rally. He was in the area on this day. Who showed up to protest him? Pro-immigration nuts (one guy had a sign that said 'let the terrorists in'), BLM nuts, but only a few, and LOTS of gay dudes, queens, and lesbians. These were the worst. Moaning and yelling about abortion, their sacrament, they danced a dance that can only be called demonic, rhythmically jutting their rear-ends out while demanding "my body my rights".
We are in a battle against powers and principalities.Kathleen1031https://www.blogger.com/profile/10201084623185206141noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4404498638452030181.post-87796877256247356562017-05-23T17:34:28.435-07:002017-05-23T17:34:28.435-07:00About Francis and his 5 new Cardinals, I just had ...About Francis and his 5 new Cardinals, I just had a thought that perhaps is really what's happening.
The five new Cardinals are Francis last ditch, desperate attempt to "try" to ensure a supporter gets into the throne of Saint Peter....because the opposition is getting to noisy, and too many in the Vatican and elsewhere. He's gonna "cut and run". He's done as much damange to the Catholic Church that he could....but now the opposition (the faithful Catholics), are finally awakening (took them long enough......duh) so he figures better to get out when the getting is good. Don't be surprised if he turns tail and runs before 2017 is out.
He's trying to ensure one of his biggest supporters gets in (word is that Cardinal Parolin is campaigning for himself already and wants to push Bergoglio out).
But I think they're in for a surprise. I bet the next Pope is either a traditional man in the classic style of a Pope who was humiliated and disgraced by Bergoglio and company, or someone who isn't even a Cardinal but who has a spotless reputation for being a true Catholic, and a traditional minded one.
Damian Malliapalli

( either the scenario I stated....or else Francis' got some terminal disease and will be gone in less than a year).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4404498638452030181.post-4062118381137117272017-05-23T16:38:08.678-07:002017-05-23T16:38:08.678-07:00Susan, Augustine's theology of original sin pa...Susan, Augustine's theology of original sin passed on by a genetic viral infection is not the sole one way of explaining the fact of Sin and that human beings are sinners. The fact of human sinfulness and that humans sin is a core doctrine of the Catholic Church not Augustine's 'Original sin' theology or the more rational Franciscan theology which does not teach that sin is hardwired in humans by nature of birth but it is a matter of free will and that sin is an option. That is what the temptations of Christ are all about. Once free will is take out of the equation then the cost is humanity itself. If you read Augustine closely, you will see that he was conflicted in his 'original sin' theory with the reality of free will.
Theologies are explanations for belief not exclusive or definitive expressions of core belief. The theory of 'Original sin' is one such example.Peter Wnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4404498638452030181.post-53338927866174402562017-05-23T13:53:53.356-07:002017-05-23T13:53:53.356-07:00March for Life? That is SUCH a redundant concept. ...March for Life? That is SUCH a redundant concept. Just ask the zealous and outspoken Bishops of England and Wales who have issued guidance to the Faithful about voting in the forthcoming General Election. Amidst a whole host of questions about a candidate's views on subjects ranging from leaving the EU, immigration, modern slavery (I wonder if they expect any candidate to say that they support it?) and prison reform, there's a few lines on "life" issues, specifically euthanasia, the "flourishing of families" and
this question which I suppose could vaguely be alluding to abortion in a roundabout way: 'Will the candidate support measures to promote the intrinsic value of life at every stage?' But there's certainly no mention of either abortion or same-sex pseudo marriage by name and taken as a whole, it's stupefyingly similar to a party manifesto only fluffier and even more inconsequential.

Accept advice from them? I'd rather consult Paul the Octopus (and he's dead).Blottohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08646938871019017846noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4404498638452030181.post-39377253011790514292017-05-23T06:22:20.697-07:002017-05-23T06:22:20.697-07:00Peter W;

He was deemed a commoner according to my Irish niece who visited the Tower of London and was not allowed to be executed there. ---It is obvious that PF wants to stay away from the confrontation of JPII. He feels that you can win hearts and minds with kindness or in his words mercy. Sadly because of original sin, man is controlled by his baser nature. Francis does not believe this and believes with all the "goody do's" that man is basically good. Viola, there is no sin. This is heresy and Francis is in for a rude awakening. Hopefully, the Third Secret does not label him as the "bishop in white" and we find that Islam has spiked his head on the gates of Rome.
