Cardinal Müller Questions Cult of Personality Around Pope Francis

[Katholisches] "Every Catholic, especially every bishop and every cardinal, has a positive and constructive relationship with the Pope. But this is anything but courtly manners and the groveling of subordinates, against which Pope Francis always spoke."

"That means that not everything he does and says is, from the outset, already perfect and unquestionable."

"There should be no personal cult and a pope-touching tourism."

Cardinal Gerhard Mueller, prefect of the Roman Congregation for the Congregation of the Doctrine and the Faith, no longer in office, on Pope Franziskus, report of the German Press Agency (DPA), quoted from Der Spiegel v. July 19, 2017.

Cardinal Muller Bishop Schneider will not say that Pope Francis has made an objective mistake and violates the Principle of Non Contradiction

  2. Joe Stalin and Mao Tse Tung were described in terms of "a cult of personality".

    1. Pope Francis uses a false premise to interpret magisterial documents, violates Principle of Non Contradiction and Bishop Schneider and Rorate Caeili ignore it

  3. The "cult of personality" is a logic consequence of the tyrannical power of one man on the others.
Examples abound: Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Castro, etc...
I think that never a pope had been so overpowering as Francis, even during the corrupted times of the Renaissance.
Francis is possibly the worst among the modernist postconciliar popes.
Imagine what would have happened if his iron fist had been employed to uproot the modernist heresies and the men who go along with, instead of spreading them and appointing corrupted men in the diocese up to the highest places in the Church's hierarchy.

  4. Sorry, this doesn't have anything to do with this Post but does anyone have any idea why there is a large plastic blob stuck on the side of the main Church in San Sebastian in Spain ? Just visited last week.........I think it's supposed to be a sculpture.......most bizarre even for these times.

    1. Probably more paganry, go in a say a decade of the rosary for that place, then go enjoy some Paella.

    2. It's a Basilica, St Mary of Coro in the old town. It's quite disturbing when you see it. I find it hard to just switch off when I see these things. The last one I came across was a series of trees hanging up in a church in Munich. Quite frankly I'm past ignoring this stuff I think it's time to start speaking up more and hence my post. As Catholics we need to start calling out this stuff. It'll keep happening until enough of us do.

  5. Rafael Moneo (1937- )is a controversial Spanish architect. One of his most controversial works is found in Sab Sebastian in Northern Spain. He also designed the Cathedral in Los Angeles, California which is quite controversial at 220 million while immigrants starved. I will keep searching. I presume that you are talking about the town of San Sebastian. That should narrow it down quite a bit.

  6. It's little wonder that Katholisches has been screaming for donations. If someone coughed up, they might be able to employ a journalist.

  7. Feybriel, Katholisches is run at a fraction of what it costs to put out Fishwrap or even a diocesan rag and the news there is accurate, the analysis might not be to your liking, but it's superlative. Not everyone agrees with your promotion of degeneracy, you know.

  8. Pope Francis should have approved another 5 years for Cardinal Mueller. This a.h. Pope certainly knows how to make enemies. LOL
There are the three remaining faithful Cardinals who issued the Dubia, and now, Cardinal Mueller, who I believe will tell the hard truth about Francis, discredit him, and be much more a thorn in his side than if he were to have stayed as Prefect of the CDF. The current new Prefect is a worthless Jesuit, who though perhaps not a radical like his boss, has already proclaimed his utmost loyalty to him. Sickening.
Bring on more protesters against Francis....rise up and be true Catholics. Bring the heretic down and out...along with his thugs....Schoenborn, Tagle, etc.

    1. Ok Martin Luther. A protestant would not have stated what you did any differently. Congratulations.

    2. Actually a protestant would feel right at home in the Novus Ordo.
