CDF Wants SSPX to Help in Fight Against Modernism

March 9, 2017 (LifeSiteNews) – In an explosive homily delivered Sunday, the leader of the Society of Pius X (SSPX) said the Prefect for the Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith wants the SSPX to be fully reconciled to help fight modernists in the Church.
"Bishop [Bernard] Fellay [reported] the comments of Cardinal (Gerhard) Muller asking the SSPX to join his fight against the modernists," according to the SSPX's USA District.
Fellay said "there is much contradiction" among Church leaders with regard to the SSPX, which had a break with the Vatican over Vatican Council II.

  1. Where has the SSPX been? We're out here suffering this pope and these apostates, and we don't hear anything coming from the SSPX, Bishop Fellay, or anyone else for that matter. As far as we are concerned, the number of faithful Cardinals can be probably counted on one hand, and the remainder are Flaming homosexual-Atheist-Marxist-Freemasonic Destroyers.
Oh, and there are also the Cowardly Careerists. I'm sorry, but that is what they are. They have sacrificed much, to be sure, but they took vows, and now when we have a crisis, where are they?
I don't see any of these men defending Christ, the faith, the church, or the poor flock.
Until someone says the word "heretic" in plain English, they are not helping.
If I were these men, I would live in fear. If today the clouds parted and the trumpet blasted, signaling the day of deliverance from this sinful generation, who among these men could say they did what they could to save souls and the church? Which one of them has stood up in the public square or at a press conference and stated the case plainly for all to see and hear, in words that are not vague or veiled, that ALL can understand?
    Not one.

    1. Kathleen. You are right. The Church is under internal persecution now ,but it will end soon.Bergoglio and his ignorant minions will flounder in the cess pool of Modernism-which they all adhere too-and sink in its infernal swamp.God Bless the SSPX and all Trads...

    2. Kathleen1031, Bishop Fellay is a very smart man. God has blessed him with strategies in the war against Modernism. He knows how to fight this battle. Let us trust God working within Bishop Fellay. There are many in the Church who are battling for Christ. Bergoglio knocks them off one by one. But they continue! We must not underestimate God's own work. In the Old Testament we are admonished, "Despise not small beginnings". We the laity must pray, fast and do penance. The battle between Heaven and hell is raging. If we observe closely we can see God is the Victor again.

  3. Read this poem today...
There was once an old cuck named Fellay
He tried to get the SSPX to join the N.O. day after day.
Till at last a Heeb named Francis said:
Come on in drink some wine have some bread.
Our religion is like McDonald's you can have it your way!
    What is your response Tancred?
Not being rude nor did I write that poem.

    1. Why should he respond? It's not even a poem but gibberish. It doesn't even scan (look it up).

    2. I didn't say he should do anything genius! I asked him his opinion.

  4. This is nonsensical, since Francis is the chief modernist.

  5. Rumor has it that some blue jeaned , cigarette smoking French lady is having mystic visions of Fellay leading the Church back to tradition and that he is consulting her per his strategic moves.

    2. The seer, Madame Rosinierre, in the 1990's, did in fact convince Bp. Fellay that the SSPX would save the Church (though they would have to reconcile first). Bp. Fellay published her locutions in Cor Unum in the 1990's, so it isn't idle speculation at all. It's on record. Thankfully, the other three bishops put a stop to Bishop Fellay implementing the instructions of Madame Rosinierre. She passed away some years ago.

  6. That should just about finish off Muller.

  8. The SSPX should keeps its distance from Rome. Bergoglio is intensifying his efforts to turn what remains of the Catholic Church into a social justice operation. Rumors swirl about women deacons and a new Liturgy that can be said by both Catholic priests and certain protestants. And just today, Bergoglio said he wants to look into married men becoming priests.

The SSPX should want no part of the madness Bergoglio has wrought. If Fellay wants to tap dance with Rome while never formally agreeing to anything, that's a different story. In fact, just appearance of formal negotiations has accomplished a great deal with those who wondered about them. It has brought them the legitimacy they need to move forward.

  10. "CDF Wants SSPX to Help in Fight Against Modernism"

Seems VC2 wants SSPX to explain Modernism or "the new theology" to traditionalists, i.e. doubletalk them into accompanying the rest of y'all on your cathedral ice slide to hell...

  11. Conversions are possible! It is the heart of the Fatima Message. Pope Benedict XVl shocked Traditional Catholics when he chose Muller to head the CDF. Muller was a sworn enemy of the Society of St. Pius X. The SSPX told him, "The very Congregation you head would have at one time been investigating you!". We have all seen that Cardinal Muller now staunchly defends the Church against modernism. Even clearly going against Bergoglio. Now he seeks the help of the group that he once hated. This is what is called the conversion of poor sinners. We are all sinners in need of conversion. God has worked a grand miracle in the Heart and Soul of Cardinal Muller. May God continue to Bless him with His Graces. Deo Gratias!

  12. What is up with Muller? Is he swilling the same juice as Francis? Can't he talk straight? One day its this, the next day its that.
Are all these men whack jobs?
They aren't equipped to pitch garbage and they are responsible for souls!
We are reduced to a mad circus of narcissists.

  14. The pope is heretical and not Catholic but the Pope is catholic!
Obey the pope even though the Pope excommunicated me!
He's not the pope when promulgating evil but is the pope when he is doing something half decent.
The novus ordo is wrong but its OK to attend the novus ordo.
The new sacraments are wrong but the new sacraments are Catholic.
"Obey the pope" even though I disobeyed the Pope and he excommunicated me."

    1. Anonymous, Cardinal Burke has said, "When a Pope falls into heresy then he is no longer Pope". How can a man who has ceased to be Pope excommunicate you? I too hold that the revised version (or rather the butchered version) of the Sacraments of the Novus Ordo are valid, but disgustingly deficient. Pope Benedict XVl said that V2 was a Pastoral council and many of the changes were not called for. I owe zero obedience to Bergoglio. If I obeyed him I wouldn't be Catholic anymore. Bishop Schneider in an interview said that we are to resist Pope Francis when he speaks in error. And Bergoglio speaks in error 99% of the time. He himself has said that many times he doubts the existence of God. He should have never accepted the Papacy if he doubted the existence of the Supreme Being. He has no faith! Which explains a lot. As St. John Paul ll said, "When one does not believe, he cannot give what he himself does not posses, good intentions are not good enough". How can Bergoglio give to us what he himself does not posses. If you are a Modernist and this is a trick comment? Then you will answer to God. We Traditionalists will "Restore All Things In Christ", We obey the 2000 year teachings of the Church. Sorry for being suspicious of your comment, but I have heard of no one excommunicated by Bergoglio so far. Why were you supposedly excommunicated?

    4. Buddy,my entire comment was satire about the SSPX.
Look up the word 'satire' online dictionary, then read my comment, while reading comment think about SSPX and meaning of the word "Satire".

    5. Anonymous, I know what satire is. My question now is, why do you condemn the SSPX when you know nothing about them? You are talking like a Modernist in the sense that Modernists don't believe in God so they insult Traditionalists only out of ignorance of the Supreme Being. If they ever come to believe in the Creator and that we are the created, then they will see clearly what Traditional Catholics are all about. In the meantime don't presume that you know what you do not know.

    6. Bro,I'm a traditional Catholic and know plenty about the SSPX.
You & me are having 2 different conversations.
      Let's call it a day,deal?
      Dominus Vobiscum

    7. Anonymous, I agree we are having two different conversations. It began with your first confusing comment. Now lets make it the same conversation. I ask what did you mean with your satirical comment? Why not just answer this question? Then we can call it a day. Then we have a deal. When you answer with honesty then I will also be able to say "Dominus Vobiscum" as well.

  15. For those who think Bishop Fellay will give in to compromise, here are his own words from March 07, 2017 on the latest news about an eminent agreement. This taken from the SSPX site.

"it does not mean that we go forward, we must go with great prudence and also secure our future to be able to prevent any possibility of a trap. Therefore we are not running in this situation."

Bishop Fellay says all looks good but Pope Francis can change his mind. So he seeks a solid guaranteed agreement that they remain as they are. Rome has even agreed to the Consecration of new Bishops from among the SSPX own priests. Bergoglio has asked Bishop Fellay for 3 names of his priests for consideration as Bishops. Bishop Fellay knows what he is doing!

    1. Comforting words, if accurately reported. With Bergoglio the first logical thought, based on his perfidious actions and words, is to indeed suspect a trap. It remains most suspicious that, given all the venom he spews against faithful Catholics, he would be so intent on reconciling the SSPX.
