Pope's Words for the Feast of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary -- LightningStrikes the Cupola Again

(Rome) The Rosary Festival (Festum Beatae Mariae Virginis a Rosario) was held yesterday, which was originally the Feast of Our Lady of Victory. It was introduced on the occasion of the naval battle of Lepanto against the Turks on October 7, 1571, which was victorious for Christendom. The Feast was already established in 1573.

Pope Francis sent yesterday the following Twitter entry:

"The Rosary is the prayer that always accompanies my life; It is also the prayer of the simple and the saints ... it is the prayer of my heart."

It has  not yet been confirmed yet that yesterday a flash of lightning had hit the dome of St. Peter's in Rome, as on the evening of February 11, 2013, when Pope Benedict XVI unexpectedly resigned.

A lightning strike on the the dome of Saint Peter's has so far only been documented once for that dramatic day in the Church history. There are no historical indications, even without a picture document, of such a lightning strike on the dome of St. Peter's which was completed in 1590.

    1. you've got to be joking.
that's not very ecumenical, and would terribly offend our muslim brothers, who by a mysterious act of the god of surprises, now share the same god as catholics.

  2. "the rosary is the prayer that always accompanies my life"
    really?
Has anyone ever heard francis publicly and audibly lead the rosary (not just attend it with someone else leading)?
I myself can find no video or otherwise of such.

    1. Remamber this nugget?

"Pope Francis has confessed to stealing the rosary cross of his late confessor and wearing it under his cassock to this day." (The Irish Independent 07/03/2014)

    2. yeah exactly. Why the hell (if you're going to steal anyway), would you not take the whole Rosary, but rather rip off the crucifix? Perhaps he attached it to a tiny hammer and sickle.

He doesn't pray the Rosary....he mocks people who pray it and who offer those prayers for him. Occam's razor...he has no devotion; at least not to God.

    3. Even so, I pray for the man in my rosary and try to remember this prayer of the Psalmist for my own soul's sake:

"Have mercy on me, O God, according to thy great mercy. And according to the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my iniquity. Wash me yet more from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I know my iniquity, and my sin is always before me...

Turn away thy face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities. Create a clean heart in me, O God: and renew a right spirit within my bowels. Cast me not away from thy face; and take not thy holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation, and strengthen me with a perfect spirit. I will teach the unjust thy ways: and the wicked shall be converted to thee... " Psalm 50

  3. How can Francis pray the Rosary and still be an evil schmuck? Something ain't right. Either he is lying or he does not know how to pray it or he has some major grace blockers going on. His pride would be enough to block the graces that flow from humble, submissive, loving recitation of the Holy Rosary.

  4. The lightening struck the cupols of Saint Peter's probably aas the Lord's anger at the rot and filth Francis just yesterday appointed to the Sacred College of Cardinals....including 3 radical liberal Americans....Cupich (Chicago), Tobin C.SS.R( Indianapolis), and Farrell (Congregation for the Family,Vatican). Also the worst of all, DeKestel, of Brussels,Belgium, protégé of Danneels.
No Italians, no conservatives or traditional minded Catholics. The great Patriarch of Venice missed out again.
But when Francis is dead soon, he might get his reward without being a Cardinal!

  5. The new "cardinal" Tobin, just so everyone knows, was the radical liberal head of the Redemptorist Order for a number of years, and under him the Order-already in sharp decline since Vatican II-plundged down even faster. After his stint as head of his Order, he was appointed to the Congregation of Religious and Secretary, during which time he did all he could to support the radical liberal agenda of USA dissident nuns, and cast them in a good light. When the investigation of USA nuns began under the great Benedict XVI and the great Cardinal Rode,CM, Tobin showed his lack of enthusiasm for the exercise of this openly...so he was sacked by Benedict XVI to what everyone thought was the backwater of Indianapolis.
Now along comes Francis, the dissident, the heretic, the radical....and appoints Tobin to the honor of Cardinal....along with other radicals.
No wonder a lightening strike at St. Peter's.
When will the Lord intervene and take away this imposter Francis and bring the Church a true Pope, in the old of Benedict XVI or even more traditional.
I come from a very old, Catholic family....but really have not much to do with the Church anymore since Francis. He is filth.

    1. Damian,

I don't know where you're located, but find a Resistance Mass (insanely, the SSPX is going conciliar). Pope Francis appears to be the "destroyer" prophesied by St. Francis...which further indicates that this is pretty much the end of the line for the VII "church of darkness" (Ven. Anne Catherine Emmerich's description). Also, read the prophecies of the Breton stigmatist Marie-Julie Jahenny...even the lightning was foretold! Our Lady told us at La Salette to fight...we'll have plenty of opportunity to do that, especially those faithful who live in France and Italy.

      God bless you.

  6. Francis is a hypocrite to pray the Rosary. I don't believe he does. It's like someone who never, ever goes to Confession receiving Holy Commmunion every Sunday and thinking they are such good people and Catholics.

  7. The comments so far are my exact thoughts but I didn't want to go there. The miracle of the Rosary is that anyone who prays it with devotion is led to God by Our Lady. Lightning struck St. Peters again. The first time it happened the result was Bergoglio, what will the result be this time. We must do as the Angel of the Last secret commanded in God's name, "Penance, Penance, Penance."

  8. Let's remember the last words Don Juan de Austria said before the battle : Hijos, a morir hemos venido, o a vencer si el cielo lo dispone. No deis ocasiòn para que el enemigo os pregunte con arrogancia impìa : Donde està vuestro Dios? Pelead en Su Santo nombre, porque muertos o victoriosos, habréis de alcanzar la inmortalidad. Maybe the BoR will understand the spanish words....Pray the rosary? It's for narrowminded people, miserable old Catholics ....

  10. Russia has just put a no fly zone in place over Syria. Russia has warned the US, that any attack on Syria would be considered an attack on Russia. Russia has moved nuclear missiles into Europe, two years ahead of schedule. The stage is set.

  11. I thought I was going to have my question answered, only to find myself with the same question.
    My question is:
How many times has a lightning bolt EVER hit St. Peter's dome?
    Is it fairly common?
This is something no one has mentioned in the aftermath of it being struck when PB abdicated, yet it is to me very important.
This commentary seems to indicate it has "only been recorded once for that important day in history", but does that mean it has been recorded on that date previously? This would seem to mean it is a fairly common occurrence.

I would really like to know the answer to that, if anybody has it.
If lightning has only struck the dome two times, one when Benedict abdicated and just the other day on the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, that would be very interesting indeed. Thank you to anyone who knows the answer to this.

    1. Every time when in Rome there's a rainstorm, lightning bolts struck St.Peter's dome, in this summer 4 or 5 times, it wasn't fairly common before February 11th......sign of times.

    2. Kathleen1031, It has never been recorded nor known that lightning strike St. Peter's Basilica. The first time was two hours after Pope Benedict XVl announced his resignation. A certain Cardinal who was inside the Basilica said he only heard the thunder and that Pope Benedict called on him to investigate as to whether or not lightning really struck St. Peter's, the finding was affirmative. Pope Benedict made the statement that through a mystical experience God called on him to step down. Before announcing his resignation Pope Benedict XVl said publicly, "Many today ask whether Christ has abandoned his Church. And rightly so as it does seem at times that Christ has truly abandoned His Church". After the first bolt of lightning God punished us with Bergoglio. What will God do to us now after this second bolt? In another incident while Bergoglio was wreaking havoc on the Church, St. Peter's Basilica was overshadowed with darkness on a sunny day, it was called an eclipse. Christ admonished us in scripture not to fear. And we must not fear as the Bride of Christ the Church is alive and well. God must cleanse His Church from the Modernists who have caused destruction to souls for over 50 years.

  12. Thank you Anonymous and PaxTecum. This is fascinating stuff. One thing we must give Francis is that he has forced the issue. We can't say we don't see where Cardinals or Bishops stand, everybody's position is becoming more clear by the day. There is something positive in this, and perhaps it is something God wishes. I do not believe Pope Benedict a man who would make such an incredible claim about a mystical experience unless it happened. Perhaps it was necessary that he get out of the way for the man who would bring all things out in the open, as hard as it is to experience this. We were on a long, downward slide, and now we are almost in freefall. Yet one can detect God's presence in these times. There are indicators, I think, such as these signs.
I never heard about the darkening of the Vatican. I wonder when that was.
O Lord, come to our rescue!

  13. There was/is a Medieval prediction that the reign of the Anti-Christ would almost destroy the Church, but that his term would be brief...less than 5 years. Saint Francis of Assisi also made a similar prediction,
Now we have to wonder if the person predicted was John XXIII who started the whole destruction (perhaps unwittingly), or Francis himself....which appreas more likely because his words, actions, and gestures are deliberate....a deliberate break with Catholic tradition, and insulting to the Teachings of the Faith. I would say it's him.

  14. Anonymous, Many of us Traditional Catholics have blamed St. John XXlll for the mess in the Church caused by Vatican ll. The truth of the matter is that Pope John XXlll with the assistance of Cardinal Ottaviani drew up 9 schemas that were to make up the Council. Pope John XXlll lived to see only the first session of the Council, he did not sign the document that came from it. After that first session he sought to end the Council as he saw trouble ahead. The Modernist Council Fathers deleted the other 8 schemas prepared by the Holy Father, something we call the hijacking of the Council. 5 of the original schemas have been translated into English. Of particular interest is Pope John's schema on, "Draft of a Dogmatic Constitution Defending Intact the Deposit of Faith". Pope John XXlll clearly intended a much needed Pastoral Council that was to be truly Pastoral as Catholics were losing the True Faith. But what we got was nothing compared to what the Holy Father Intended. His Council was to be in line with the Council of Trent and Vatican Council l. One can find the 5 translated schemas on the Internet. By reading them many Traditionalists discover the real St. John XXlll. One finds he truly loved the Church. I believe God kept his body incorrupt in order that we may discover what the real Council was supposed to be and not what we got.

    1. His body was incorrupt by being pumped full of bottle after bottle of embalming fluid. That story is well known. John XXIII was a modernist and a freemason which is also well known. Yes, at the end he apparently regretted opening the council.

    2. Anonymous, When Ven. Pius Xll died his body began to quickly decompose. It is said, "his body turned emerald green". The stench became so bad that the Swiss guards guarding the body of the Angelic Pope, were starting to pass out. Pope John XXlll because of this, left in his last testament the request that he be lightly embalmed to prevent what happened to the body of His Holiness Ven Pius Xll. According to a mortician a good embalming lasts 10 years. After 53 years the body of St. John XXlll is perfectly incorrupt without rigor mortis setting in. I'm glad that you acknowledge that at the end Pope John XXlll regretted what was starting to happen at the Council. It is recorded that his last words were, "End the Council, End the Council". Many people do not know this. Many Traditionalists are now learning who Pope John really was. Rorate Caeli Blog has a good article on this, with the conclusion that we Traditionalists must reclaim him as our own. The Modernist heretics have falsely claimed him as their own for too long.

  15. imagine a speculative theological graph as to how much modernism in different popes:
    1. Pius X - 0% modernism
    2. Pius XII - 10% modernism
    3. John XXIII - 25% modernism
    4. Paul VI - 75% modernism
    5. Bergoglio - 100 % modernism
