SSPX Disagreements With Vatican II Are No Obstacle

Edit: this is the deal breaker, which was denied to the Society lay time documents were brought to them for signing.

[Rorate Caeli] Abp. Pozzo, Secretary of the Pontifical Commission Ecclesia Dei, spoke to the semi-official daily of the French episcopate, La Croix, on the relations between the Holy See and the Society of St. Pius X, and among other relevant things said the following:

"The difficulties raised by the SSPX regarding Church-State relations and religious freedom, the practice of ecumenism, and the dialogue with non-Christian religions, of certain aspects of the liturgical reform, and of its concrete application, remain the object of discussion and clarification, Abp. Pozzo [of the Pontifical Commission Ecclesia Dei] added, but they are not an obstacle for the canonical and legal recognition of the SSPX."

I don't mean any malice or disrespect.(I promise)
It shocks me the SSPX & SSPX-MC regard the new Sacraments & new rites of holy orders as valid.
It's none of my business and I am not trying to change anyone,it is just bewildering.

We are damned for the evil we do and the good we do not do. Imagine all the good that has not been done because these dear priests are not in our parishes. That must weigh very heavy upon them. Lord have mercy.

They always viewd them as valid.....just as a complete break with Catholic tradition. The abuse which came from the new rites the SSPX sees as invalid.
The only rites that they actually viewed with suspicion as being close to invalid are the new rite consecration for Bishops. And the SSPX is probably correct in this.
I would trust the SSPX priests and theologians before I would trust any Vatican II priest or Bishop...even Francis himself. After his Apostolic Exortation last week, should any good Catholic trust Him? I don't think so.

No they haven't always viewed novus ordo Sacraments as valid, including Holy orders.
This is a fact,I promise you.

It's always been the policy of the Society to view the sacraments as valid.

Were you in the society from the early 70's - early 80's?
ABL re-ordained novus ordo priest's and they consecrated their 4 bishops in the traditional rites plus doing confirmation in traditional rites.

That has nothing to do with the Society's official position.

Here is what I am asking you all.
If ABL truly deep down believed the novus ordo Sacraments were valid, why do they use the traditional rites (even to this day!) for baptism, confirmation, holy order's,and extreme unction?
Please answer because this has always intrigued me.I understand if it's a few days before anyone responds.
