Kasper Talks About Pope's "Hundred Year Plan"

(Vienna) This past Wednesday, October 15, 2014, Walter Cardinal Kasper briefly interrupted the more or less obvious destruction within the context of the Synod of Bishops, to lecture at the "dies facultatis" the Catholic Theological Faculty of the University of Vienna  on "The keeping of the ecclesiological and ecumenical vision of Pope Francis ".
Although the full text of the lecture is not available, there is a  a detailed article published by the Katholiche Austria Press Agency. It has Kasper  quoted as saying: "The spirit of the Council is blowing  in the Synod." The recent and increasingly bitter remarks about Cardinals Müller and Burke who are  opposed, said Kasper, is contrasted instead by the work of the synod,  where a climate of "confidence, joy and freedom" is found, which has been  shown also in the interim report from last Monday. Kasper tried to play off the history of the Church for Pope Francis, speaking of a pessimistic mood, that is accusing  the new Pope of initiating a rupture. In his presentation, the German cardinal described the Holy Father as "God's gift to the Church and this time."
The "Catholic News Agency Austria" writes in its article: "The reform program, which Pope Francis Church had decreed was a '100 year program', said Kasper, since it  concerns all dimensions of being church in the attitude of every Christian. Thus, the current choices of rich, according to Kasper, are also far beyond the pontificate of Francis; the success of the Pope [...] therefore depends on whether we will be able to bring the awakening spirit to life in future pontificates."  Whether  a Catholic can reform his "fundamental beliefs", of course, is highly questionable. The Catholic does not change his fundamentals because the church does not change her basic fundamentals. The Church does not change  Her fundamentals, because God does not change. Incidentally, the overbearing Kasperian concept of "100 year program" seems hardly compatible with the Pope's "humble church."

Cardinal Kasper in Vienna
Nevertheless  Cardinal Kasper has bandaged the pontificate of Pope Francis with the mood of a "new springtime", so that among the participants in the Synod of Bishops, which comes to an end in a few days,  observed the much-touted "Francis" effect. With Francis, a "paradigm shift" has been completed. Accordingly, we could not squeeze him into the "familiar progressive-conservative schema" or determine to assign a "theological school of thought" to him.The "Catholic News Agency Austria" writes: "Rather, it combined elements of tradition in his understanding of the Church  with elements 'a ecclesia semper reformanda '- a church that is pushing for change. Francis thus consciously imagines the tradition of the conciliar Popes John XXIII. and Paul VI., who always wanted to re-interpret it in the light of the signs of the times' the unchanging gospel." Pope Francis was a "practical man and of encounter ", referring to the "primacy of reality consists before the idea ".
The German Cardinal even puts the Pope in connection with the widespread Latin American liberation theology.  So this was  taken up in the liberationist three steps "see, judge, act". At the same time one should not connect Francis with the kind of liberation theology that has been condemned by the Church. Instead, the "Catholic News Agency Austria" says, "the liberation theology of Jorge Mario Bergoglio builds on a special Argentine variant of a theology of the people and culture. These have strong European theological and philosophical roots and a high level of sensitivity to local pieties and regional social situations. Instead of the idea of class struggle, the liberation theology of the Pope was influenced by the idea of reconciliation."
Against this background the other statements made by Cardinal Walter Kasper may be able to be understood by what Francis had in mind with a "participation of the people of God, every individual in the Church." The Church must be therefore primarily, be a church "with an ear to the people." One should not play out the relationship between church doctrine and gospel against each other, says Kasper. This immediately raises the question, why is the Cardinal doing exactly that as regards the indispensable since at least February 2014. Finally, doctrine and gospel is on a line, it's straight and very clear when it comes to adultery. According to Kasper, it constitutes the "joy of the Gospel" the foundation of any "proper understanding of the doctrine." With his evangelical program "Francis seizes  the original message of the Church and its mission from the past" - whatever Kasper means by this statement.

Hello Church:

It is really simple. We are to worship God. God told us how to worship Him. We want to do that.

Do what needs to be done to make this happen.

Or

Get out of the way.

What a girlish Nazi fawning over his Fuerher. Thank God they'll both be dead soon and all their thoughts shall perish. I'm personally more worried about what Bergoglio's doing to put Ratzinger's vision of a smaller and poorer church into effect -- by selling off the pieces of the company (as they do in hostile takeovers) and transferring the loot to their own bank accounts. There needs to be flash mob to lynch them upside down like they did Mussolini.

There was another who had a 100 year program. Many people see that program at work in the Church already. Some estimate that program to end in 2017. Now let me seeeee. Whose program was that anyway? Oh. Yeah.

Kasper and his Pope are outdated. They are products of the 60's and will go the way of Twiggy and the Monkees.

Finally Cardinal Burke has made explicit what everyone knows to be true: the Pope is responsible.

The disastrous synod has anything worth while to achieve than exposing to the Catholics world over that the true intentions of Pope Francis and card.Kasper are nothing but heretical. Are they none but agents of Devil ? Finally, the Immaculate Heart of May will triumph. Will it be in 2017? Let us pray for them that they will give their vain attempts.

Pope Francis and Cardinal Kasper ARE agents of the devil.
Wasn;t there an old Medieval prophecy or story about the anti=Christ, who is actually a Pope, who looks and acts like a Pope but who persecutes the faithful and preaches heresy? I think there are also visions and relevations given from Heaven by the Lord and the Blessed Virgin Mary regarding a Pope and his legions leading the faithful from the True Faith, creating caos and confusion as heretics. That time is here, and the man is here.....Pope Francis.
Fortunatly, from what I read about the Synod, Pope Francis has done nothing but make many, many enemies. Cardinal Burke himself has stated that this Pope has done a great deal of harm.
It is time for faithful Catholics to rise up, and demand in no uncertain terms that Francis and his people must go!
Benedict XVI should be hanging his head in shame for opening the door to all this!!

Now Cardinal Burke is being given the opportunity to wash away his modernist past for a truly traditionalist future but there can be no compromises with Satan occupying The Holy See.

Pope francis must reuely be an evil man (He is), to have a "100 year plan" for the Church....with everything set to destroy the tradition of the Faith.

He is arrogant, smug, and supremely confident.
But after this Synod, watch his papacy blow up in his face!

Pope Francis won't have the time to develop a 100 year plan.....100 days maybe (unfortunately, but don't bet on him or his associates being around in office in 100 weeks.........let alone his agenda surviving for 100 years !!!

Correction anonymous - the door to all this, as you put it, was opened by John XXIII, then homosexual Paul VI and with each successive papacy it has become wider until we have the ultimate destroyer in place. Benedict was a very subtle enemy of the traditionalist church with his hybridised liturgical paradigm; cover-up mentality over abuse and Fatima and his astuteness in espousing enough of the old to fool most neo-conservatives. On the contrary, he will be very pleased with the outcome - Francis can swing the wreckers ball more violently now.

Although I am no fan of Kasper, I am unsure about your translation of "Jahrhundertplan", which does not necessarily mean exactly hundred years, but is used in German as a possible term for a plan with high reaching consequences and an enormous importance. In German it doesn not necessarily evoke the same (socialist) associations as "Hundert-Jahre-Plan" would do.

I'm having a bad feeling that this pope may have been a mistake. It seems he's brought his personal agenda to the papacy. How does this square with the action of the Holy Spirit in the conclave? I am praying to St. John Paul II

You are a little late to the party, more than a bit naive and praying to a NONsaint who has been a disaster for, themChurch second only to our current heretic pope. WAKEY! WAKEY!

Dont' pray to John Paul II...........Pray before the Blessed Sacrament, or say the Rosary. Praying to John Paul II is like praying to the wall. You're wasting your time..
If you must pray to a Pope..........try a real saint.....Pius XII.

This is out from the Associated Press today. I went to their web page because MSN cut half the report (ended at the 'Pope Francis and journalists' bit).

Apparently Francis insisted that the paragraphs that failed to pass, STILL be printed with the voting tally...

John Paul II made Francis a bishop and a cardinal. John Paul II made Walter Kasper a bishop and a cardinal. John Paul II made Godfried Danneels a cardinal.

Why would you pray to John Paul II when the majority of ultra modernist cardinals and bishops in today's Church were elevated by John Paul II?

If you want to pray to a papal saint, I'd recommend praying to St. Pius X because he fought against the modernist heresy, the very heresy that is the root and foundation of this synod.

All good faithful and traditional Catholic groups, and pro-life Catholic groups must link together, pool our efforts, and bring Francis down and out, along with all his associates (especially Kasper and Forte and Mariadiaga). We must begin an effort to force Francis to resign. IT's a longshot, but not impossible if a monumental force of opinion in the Church...those who want the Faith....is heard.

Don't let the devil get him. said...

I look at this photo above of Kasper. Yes, he is a whack job closet Prot. But he has a soul and has value to God Who died for him. He is still a priest. Did any of bosses ever correct him? Not that I ever heard. Has he no Catholics in his family to tell him that he is filled with the devil? He behaves like the Gerasene demoniac in need of an exorcism. I feel sorry for him if nobody ever loved him enough to correct him or punish him be he obstinate in his evil ways. What if Kasper goes to Hell?!?

Who will correct him in the hopes of saving his soul? We at least can pray for him, he who is our enemy. It doesn't have to feel good. We just have to do it.

From someone who well remembers Twiggy and the Monkees, that was TOO funny!

It is not the teaching of the Catholic Church that the Holy Spirit guides conclaves. The history of the Church is replete with instances that would defeat such an idea. The pontificate of one of the most immoral men to ever be ordained, John XII, who died while visiting his mistress, is an example that demonstrates that. There have been popes that bought their office. The Holy Ghost had no part of that. - DJR

"saying on Sunday the Church should not be afraid of change and new challenges.

Francis, who has said he wants a more merciful and less rigid Church, made his comments in a sermon to some 70,000 people in St. Peter's Square for the ceremonial closing of a two-week assembly, known as a synod.

The working session of the gathering ended on Saturday night with a final document that reversed a historic acceptance of gays by the Church made just a week earlier -- a result some progressives see as a setback for Francis.

"God is not afraid of new things. That is why he is continuously surprising us, opening our hearts and guiding us in unexpected ways," the pope said."

I copied the above quote from a new artice of a speech Pope Francis gave for a crowd of 70,000 attending the beatification of Paul VI (70,00 sounds like somewhat of a small turnout, doesn't....considering what it was supposed to be a huge occasion?

Anyway, we should all pray, that Francis is gone soon. God knows what is up his sleeve with a quote like that. Let us pray that he is forced to resign by the overwhelming opposition to his radical plans...which I hope grow every day.....or that he departs peacefully to his reward.

And that next time, the Cardinals, having learned their lesson the hard way....elect a traditional man AND a Catholic.

Question: is there such a thing as the "Law" of Graduality. I'm 62 years old and I have never heard of such a thing.
Question: will the so called Law of Graduality supplant Natural Law?
Question: if you undermine one sacrament, don't you undermine all of them?

Does someone have the complete speech? audio? video?
Could somone upload it?
