Fatima and the Third Secret -- Why is Pope Francis Having the 97 Year Old Secretary of John XXIII Come to Rome?

(Rome) Is there a Marian reading of recent church events? Antonio Socci focuses on this question in the news daily Libero (April 14). Pope Benedict XVI., who sees his powers dwindling  and does not feel strong enough to face the challenges of the time announced his resignation on the 11th February, taking place on the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes,.
His successor, Francis is elected on March 13 , a date that commemorates the apparitions of Fatima. In the small Portuguese city, the Mother of God appeared between the 13th of May and 13th of October on the 13th of each month before three children. The 13th Day of each month is Fatima Day in  Catholic piety  and thus is a Marian date.
Sister Lucia of the Immaculate Heart,  which was the religious name of one of the children, wrote down the Third Secret of Fatima in 1944 after much reluctance. Only when she was stopped from writing expressly by her bishop, she got the call. The minutes were kept by the Bishop of Leiria, since 1957 and they are located in the archives of the Congregation for Doctrine and the Faith in Rome. Each newly elected Pope is shown the content of the the Third Secret by the time of his inauguration.  Only in 2000, did Pope John Paul II  order the publication of the secret to counteract speculation about a near end of the world or a third world war.
Much has been puzzled about the Third Secret of Fatima, about "a Bishop dressed in White, which was written of by the Sister Lucia dos Santos, one of the three seers: "We had the idea that it was the Holy Father.”
Pope John Paul II referred to the prophecy when he and the then Secretary of the Congregation, now the Cardinal Secretary of State, Tarcisio Bertone, made to reveal the third secret in the Holy Year in 2000 by the then Prefect of the Congregation of the Faith, Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger. In the belief, which was granted to the shepherd children by Our Lady, they saw that the white-robed Bishop is killed by soldiers. In 1981, a few months after the assassination attempt on John Paul II by the Soviet hired assassin Ali Agca, Cardinal Ratzinger, the previous Prefect of the CDF, Franjo Cardinal Seper, had made a connection between the vision and  the Pope surviving the severe injuries inflicted by the attack . The attack was on May 13th was committed on the day of Fatima. The Pope ascribed his salvation to the Mother of God.
Early on, however, there were doubts whether the publication was complete. Due to past testimony of several top church officials, several lines seem to have continued to be kept secret. However, doubts were also placed on the interpretation. Among others, it was the Austrian Bishop Kurt Krenn of Sankt Pölten, who publicly reported a little later about such doubts of Joseph Ratzinger. The Prefect of the CDF had therefore been of the opinion that the prophecy was not referring to the assassination, but had a far greater dimension. One dimension that concerns the whole Church, as well as the popular intuition showing in the murder of the other bishops, priests and lay Catholics. So the Third Secret concerns future events that have yet to occur.
Recently, the question is raised whether the words referred to the resigned Pope or to his successor, who likes to call himself "Bishop of Rome".
Francis saw how Pope John Paul II had a special devotion to Mary. The Mother of God is Francis' first "escape" from the Vatican on the day after his election, when he went to venerate the icon in the Papal Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, and also prayed at the grave of Pope St. Pius V.  In his first Angelus in St. Peter's Square, he mentioned Fatima.  About two weeks ago  Pope Francis surprisingly called  Archbishop Loris Capovilla.  The now over 97 year old, retired Curial Archbishop was the first secretary of Pope John XXIII from 1958 to 1963.  On Easter Monday, the 1st of April, the phone rang. The Pope was personally at the other end and told Capovilla  he wanted to meet with him. The Monsignor promises soon to come to Rome, where he has not been any more since the beatification of John XXIII on 3 September 2000.
The reason it is said that the old prelate was to be placated, that  the Pope wanted to say thank you for a brochure that Monsignor Capovilla had written for the Year of Faith and Cardinal Comastri had given to the Pope. The Pope’s call merely to say thanks for a brochure was not convincing in the least for a set of Vatikanisten.
Capovilla was the last topic of conversation, because he talked about a memorandum that Benedict XVI. had written for his successor. The Vatican denied the allusion. At the meeting of the two Popes in Castel Gandolfo, in any case, a box full of documents and a large, sealed envelope was seen.
"Why has the Pope contrived to want to see  the former secretary of Pope Roncalli in the first month of his pontificate and at he exclusion of the public? What was so urgent?” asked Antonio Socci.
On the 7th of April the Patriarch of Lisbon, Cardinal Jose Policarpo of the Portuguese Episcopal Conference, of which he is chairman, announced that Pope Francis had asked the patriarch to consecrate his pontificate of Our Lady of Fatima. The consecration will be on 13 May, taking place on the 96th Anniversary of the apparition.
Is Pope Francis talking with Archbishop Capovilla about the Third Secret of Fatima? He, therefore, is making him come to Rome, as the timing of the announcement made shortly after he consecrated  as his pontificate to Our Lady of Fatima suggests? What does the Pope think or know related to the prophecy and the future of the Church? What must we expect?

This is 2013. The Consecration of Russia, by the Pope and all bishops, is NOT done. It will be done by name and in public.... after an event.

I suspect Pope Benedict and Pope Bergolio agree.

The 100th anniversary of Fatima is fast approaching. The Beginning of the French Revolution occurred 100 years to the day from when King Luis the 14th refused to consecrate France to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

100 years to the day.

And now we have a person who seems to be the Holy Father, and dresses in white, yet is not...

Plus, we have a world economy teetering on the edge, and several uprisings in the islamic world.

I think we have about 4 years to prepare ourselves.

Pray the Rosary, do penance, and stop sinning.

Habemus Papam. I do not wish to entertain the notion he is not, thank you.

The description might also apply to Pope Benedict XVI.

Maybe the Bishop of Rome wants to summon a new council of the Vatican (III). He needs information about how to do it and who's best than the old secretary of the "Papa Buono" to tell him about the details? The liberal bishops of Latin America (the vast majority) need a Vatican III, they want a new council so they can consolidate the liberation theology and the marxist "option for the poor" as a catholic doctrine. Pope Francis was elected to fulfill this role, to give the church another "Spring".
I belive that at the end of the year of faith we'll see the news from the loggia vaticana. "A new council".
Capovilla is one of the bishops that think Vatican II as a new spring time for the church. He is a disciple of the hermeneutic of rupture.
Up till now Pope Francis only met with the representatives of the old school of the council, prelates that Pope Benedict rejected, people like Piero Marini.
Pope John did the same back then, by rehabilitating old liberal theologians and bringing them to the council as experts.
The world is astonished with this new Pope, his humbleness, his simplicity, his informality, his black shoes, etc. But for us - latin american catholics - he is a time bomb ready to explode the Papacy. We know how latin american bishops behave, how they do things without warning.
A Vatican III or the consecration of Russia, with pope Francis you can expect everything, maybe both.

What date do people think we will receive our divine message

Russia was consecrated in 1952 by Pope Pius XII, but without the participation of the world's Bishops. It was late, after the horrors of the Gulag. Russia's trouble making ways quieted substantially after their main naval base exploded on May 13, 1984.

The other request made by Our Lady of the Rosary at Fatima, was for devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary to be established throughout the world. This request came after the vision of Hell. Our Lady said to the children, "You have seen Hell where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish in the world, devotion to My Immaculate Heart".

The Pope must grant God's wish or we are doomed to a catastrophic chastisement like the Three Days of Darkness.

Just confirming what I said previously:

Pope Francis: John XXIII reincarnate? (http://vaticaninsider.lastampa.it/en/the-vatican/detail/articolo/vaticano-vatican-giovanni-xxiii-john-xiii-juan-xiii-francesco-francisco-francis-capovilla-24/)

Watch out! We'll see a new council! I bet a official announcement is to be made at the end of the Year of Faith. Maybe, if not now, at a consistory in near future.

Another possible explanation for this desire to meet with Capovilla is a mysterious writing attributed to Pope John XXIII which was published by an esoteric publisher in Italy (Edizioni Mediterranee in 1976 by Piero Carpi. It has the title “Le Profezie di Papa Giovanni” (The prophecies of Pope John). Pope Francis may somehow have been informed of its existence. It takes what I suspect are authentic prophecies and puts them into an esoteric context (introduction, interpretation) which is completely false. However, as I said, it seems that the prophecies could be authentic. Like the alleged prophesies of St. Malachy, there is the problem that they are now both regarding the future and the past, which can be examined carefully since they were published in 1976 and almost 40 years have passed. The author thinks they describe events from 1935 to 2033, but I suspect that the reference to 33 at their end is to 1933 and refers to the year they were written. To interpret them, they require an encyclopedic knowledge of political history and the history of the Church as well as a gift for putting the clues together. Just to translate one, perhaps in reference to Benedict XVI, “ Benedetto, Benedetto, Benedetto; it will be the youth to acclaim you the new Father of a Mother who smiles … Virgin Mary nearby … in her words you will find the path … to give the name sacred to the things that are sacred and the name profane to what is profane … you will go barefoot (reference to St. Francis and humility?) and you will walk with the barefoot saint.” The prophecies themselves predict that they will stolen, and given what has happened of late in the Vatican, this is quite plausible. I have seen a French version of this, but I do not have it. That will do for now for anyone who wants to pursue this matter.

I believe Pope Francis is the Pope in the third secret of Fatima. I believe the seer at the website Locutions.org. Her spiritual director is the real deal...

While we all talk about the Popes and the Bishops and this and that what we are really missing is the fact that the Catholic Church is void of the Holy Spirit. A product of their behavior like if they were the fourth person in the Trinity. What kind of signs does it take for Mother Church to open her eyes? They are so full of power, lust and evil from with-in they cannot see anymore. When the church leaders think they know better than OUR BLESSED VIRGIN MARY and just disregard her request given to them (as usual) through humble lowly little children they have put themselves in a more important position than Mary Herself. Blind from their own sin!!! And what fools they are when Our Blessed Mother is was set by God Himself as an intercessor and Mother for all Christians of the Faith. The Church has continued to make the same mistakes over and over again, persecuting it's own because they have not the eyes to see themselves because they are void of the Spirit. You think not? Why does mother church persecute her own living saints? Lock them up, punish them, persecute them, replace them with fakes, remove all that was Sacred and Holy from our Churches and make them into a socialized gathering place? We can go on and on but if you have the eyes to see you will know what I am talking about. Want to know more about it and can you handle the TRUTH? GFCinthatorder.wordpress, com

GFC,

It has been obvious for decades that we have frauds and enemies among us who persecute the holy among us. This is not new in the history of The Church. However, the gates of Hell cannot prevail against the Catholic Church precisely because the Holy Spirit of God, the Paraclete, WILL always be with her. Jesus promised this also after the establishment of the Mass on Holy Thursday. To claim otherwise is wrong. Father George Haydock, who wrote the commentary for the Douay-Rheims says of Jesus' promise to the Apostles in John 14:16 "[16] For ever: Hence it is evident that this Spirit of Truth was not only promised to the persons of the apostles, but also to their successors through all generations."

Agree about what? You meant they knew Russia has not been done yet as Our Lady of Fatima requested.

Jesus said to St. Lucia: Pray, pray for the Holy Father. He will do it but it will be late.

Why else would he have been reviewing this issue? But it seems unlikely now PB will be doing anything about this any time soon, if ever.

This alleged Third Secret has to be resolved. Now there's this alleged Marian visionary from the Philippines who claims the Third Secret is a Marian Dogma. see for yourself and let me know if you agree or not. :) https://dominiclsanchez.wordpress.com/

I followed the link you provided above. Are the claims of Dominic L. Sanchez approved by his Bishop? There is nothing in his site that say's he has Church approval. He claims that the Third Secret of Fatima is a Marian Dogma. This is a very serious claim.

Here's a what he said: "The Third Secret of Fatima is composed of two main parts.

The first part is Marian Dogma which declares Mary as God.

The second part concerns the suffering of the Pope who will accomplish the Consecration of Russia and warns that he will become a victim soul."

dominic sanchez claims to know who the Pope of Fatima is. interesting except the dogma he claims is quite extreme.. not heard of a single cleric who alludes to support his claim.
