Porno Film Shot in a Church: Dutch Prosecutor Dismisses Charge

(The Hague) The Dutch Prosecutor's Office refuses to charge prosecution for a porn film shot in a Catholic church.

Yesterday, on the occasion of the Feast of the Assumption, the Dutch Prosecutor's Office archived the complaint against the producer and the performers of a porn film, for shooting in the church dedicated to St. Joseph in Tilburg, better known as Heuvelse Kerk. Tilburg is located in the Dutch province of Nordbrabant.

Because of the devastation of the church, the city council had received a report from the priestly council. The public prosecutor's opinion, however, is that "no criminal offense" was committed. The behavior was indeed "disrespectful", but one could not recognize a criminal offense when the penal code was read. "Blasphemy is not punishable" in the Netherlands, which is why there is no law violation, the prosecutor's office said in their statement yesterday.

Two actors were filmed in a side passage of the church and in a confessional committing a sex act.

Professor Harrie de Swart, responsible for the administration of the church, expressed his surprise at the decision of the prosecutor. He recalled that the actors had to overcome a barrier to get to the "filming locations".

The prosecutor informed that the church could seek a civil procedure. Whether it will come to such a thing is not certain. De Swart yesterday advised the diocese, for "there has been enough excitement in this cause which has led to nothing."

The 81-year-old Jan van Noorwegen, who is a priest at the church, carried out a rite reparation, when the church desecration became known at the beginning of the year. The Heuvelse Kerk was built in neo-gothic style in the 1870s.

The film was shot for Meiden van Holland, the video channel owned by the Dutch porn actress Kim Holland.

Dutch Sociologist Sees Diversity Has Failed

To solve the problem of Islamism, Muslims have to realize that "the real enemies that threaten Islam are not in Jerusalem or Washington but in their countries of origin and in the midst of their own communities"

Frankfurt am Main (kath.net) Multiculturalism has failed. This is the opinion expressed by the Dutch Sociologist and researcher Prof. Ruud Koopmans in a contribution by FAS, as idea reports. He himself had long believed that good integration would not place demands on immigrants. He had been convinced that the reason for integration problems, such as unemployment among immigrants or worse education in their children, was a wrong policy because they did not grant people enough rights and did not sufficiently recognize their culture. In the Netherlands, it was a complete failure when the migrants' culture was expanded. For example, Islamic burials were allowed and many state-funded Islamic and Hindu schools were introduced. Public media must fill at least 20 percent of their broadcasting time with programs for minorities. Despite all these measures, immigrants are four times as unemployed compared to people without a migrant background.

The sociologist sees Islamic terrorism in Europe critically. Thus the interpretation prevailed that it had nothing to do with religion, nor with migrant countries of origin, and that society was to blame. He wonders why there is so much violence in the Islamic countries themselves, where there have been no Western military interventions. The problem of Islamic extremism can not be solved until the majority of the Muslims realize "the real enemies that threaten Islam are not in Jerusalem or Washington or among the European right-wing populists, but in their countries of origin and in the middle Their own communities ".

In the last 50 years, the Catholic Church has been devastated by a huge wave of pedophile and ephebophilic abuse by Church employees and dignitaries.

For a long time, and very intensely, incredible abominations have been committed, which are in total contrast to the words of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Particularly deplorable is the embedding of the perpetrators into large networks and the protection of the perpetrators by obstruction on many levels of the Church hierarchy.

As early as 1995, the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, then under the leadership of Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger, had been very courageous and persistently prosecuted these atrocities and called for punishment.

After his election to the Papacy, Benedict XVI.  was not infrequently sabotaged in this line by well-known bishops, cardinals, and bishops' conferences.

Under Pope Francis, dealing with the problem of pedophile offenders in the Church has fundamentally changed:

-Few and resolute statements, on the one hand, and a very different approach to pedophile offenders, where Pope Francis, apparently, personally chooses to employ perpetrators in pastoral situations (Don Mercedes case), and intervenes with the personnel of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. He intervenes in such cases, if sympathetic shepherds are being prosecuted.

In December 2014, the CCP (Center for Child Protection) was established on the personal initiative of Pope Francis at the Pontifical University of the Gregoriana to study this problem. The director was the Austrian Jesuit and psychologist Hans Zollner SJ.

On March 9, 2017 the Gregoriana reported on two lectures held a few days earlier by Prof. Karlijn Demasure from the University of Louvain and F (ather) Patrick Degrieck from the Diocese of Bruges and a member of the Belgian Research Commission Bishops.

Belgium, and particularly the Flemish North, suffered particularly severely from pedophile atrocities.

The so-called "Catholic" University of Leuven has not done anything for decades, but has supported the pedophile-tolerating line of Cardinal Danneels (until 2010 Archbishop of Mechelen-Brussels), produced totally dissipated catechesis and religious studies books, and a broad and loud campaign against Pope Benedict XVI. And Archbishop Monsignor Léonard (the successor of Danneels, was appointed by Benedict XVI).

In the end of 2014, the Religious Science Department stupidly had a lot of sermons and statements from the pedophile bishop of Bruges, Roger Vangheluwe, on their website, Thomas (which was still present more than four and a half years after his unmasking).

With the priest Patrick Degrieck, a noted pedophile friend and supporter has managed to speak before a large public at the Child Protection Center CCP.

On October 27, 2014, the Kerknet site, which belongs to the bishops of north Belgium, reported that the then Bishop of Bruges, Jozef De Kesel, assigned Tom Flavez as a pastor in the West Flemish coastal community of Middelkerke.

Immediately a tremendous turmoil ensued. The population protested massively, the (liberal) mayoress and the council unleashed the storm and the restaurant and hotel sector and went to the barricades: it was apparent that T.F. was a convicted pedophile.

However, Bishop De Kesel remained stubborn. He said that "... everyone deserves a second chance ... He [De Kesel] made this decision after careful consideration and with the support of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. The bishop will not change his decision." The latter is extremely rare for the otherwise not very brave De Kesel).

Within 48 hours it was discovered that T.F. had repeatedly relapsed. Despite all the conditions, he had always had dealings with children, liked to be photographed and posed everywhere in churches' websites.

On the 31st of October, in the morning, Kerknet was informed that "... the bishop (De Kesel) has to withdraw the applicant from nomination."

In the following weeks, the bomb detonated of a number of uncovered pedophile rapists in the Diocese of Bruges. The bishops De Kesel and Bonny (Antwerp) were summoned before Parliament and "grilled".

It soon became apparent that both Tom Flavez and Patrick Degrieck had been ordained priests by the pedophile Bishop of Bruges, Roger Vangheluwe, and knew this very well. Tom Flavez was the only one tohelp Vangheluwe move from the episcopal palace in Bruges in 2010. According to reliable testimonies, Flavez and Degrieck never missed his birthday without a visit and a small present.

Patrick Degrieck studied 1986-1989 theology and canon law in the University of Leuven. From 1989 to 1997 he was a priest-teacher at H. Hartcollege in Waregem (which was also A school affected by abuse). Since then he has been a Church jurist in Bruges (now also in Antwerp with Bishop Bonny) and professor of Holy Scripture at the priestly seminary in Bruges.

Degrieck was very practical and clever as a church jurist in 2013-2014, responsible for the case of his pedophile friend T.F., apparently supplying incomplete documents to the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith in order to get a favorable assessment.

The fact that Bishop De Kesel tried to unload his own serious mistakes on the back of Cardinal Prefect Gerhard Müller made the case even more shabby.

As a result, Tom Flavez had to vacate his apartment in the Ordinariat and continued "with an unknown occupation." He was caught up by his old comrade Patrick Degrieck in the convent of Our Lady of Sorrows in Ruiselede, not far from Bruges, where Degrieck (not laughing) became a "spiritual director."

Degrieck, incidentally, was in the immediate phase after the break-up of the Vangheluwe affair and the (hesitant)investigator of the sex scandal of the Church jurist and the bishops' expert in the inner-Church "Andriessen's Investigation Commission."

In November 2010 an interview with Degrieck, deeply disturbing by the oily tone and the hypocritical content, was published in the magazine Het Teken, 83rd edition, no.5 (Nov. 2010) - notabene interviewed by Doenja van Belleghem, then director of a "Roger Vangheluwe support group".

The many crimes, deceptions and cover-ups, embedded in a pedophile, ephebo, and homophilic swamp of the local clergy, were extensively documented and analyzed at www.kavlaanderen.blogspot.be (keyword: Crisis in de Kerk ... hoezo?).

The press reported in part very thoroughly.

Bishop De Kesel's position in Bruges had become untenable. Not more than a year later he was called to take over the Archdiocese of Mechelen-Brussels.

It took a very long time for a new bishop to be appointed, by the way, from East Flanders (Ghent), which is not involved in the West Flemish problems.

Pope Francis, known for his personal preferences, appointed Jozef De Kesel as Archbishop of Mechelen-Brussels in spite of all the mistakes and concealments, and made him a cardinal (which he denied to the dedicated advocate for the right to life and to combat abuse in the Church, Bishop Léonard).

Since the end of 2014 Degrieck has hardly been able to do anything in Belgium.

To this end, he gave a lecture in Rome in 2017 before the Pontifical Center for the Protection of Children, and the topic "Secondary Victims".

He is a well-known specialist in the field of cover-up and embodiment of these vile deeds, and as a highlight also of the victims' offenses: considering the perpetrators as "also victims" (sic Danneels), and probably their own impulses.

Psychiatrically this is well known: denial - displacement - sublimation by association with the victims - absorption.

The perpetrators themselves give themselves absolution.

Widely and well known. Zero Consequences.

And now also with access to the highest channels of the Church in Rome.

San Francisco Archdiocese and Holland's Dioceses to be Consecrated to Immaculate Heart

(Amsterdam / San Francisco) The dioceses of the Netherlands and the Archdiocese of San Francisco in the USA are consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Apparition of the Virgin Mary.

In 1917, in Portugal, near Fatima, theMother of God appeared to three shepherd children. She let the children see terrible things, but also gave them the promise that "in the end" Her Immaculate Heart would "triumph".

As the Katholiek Nieuwsblad published on March 21, the bishops of the Netherlands will jointly dedicate the land to the Immaculate Heart of Mary this May 13th. On May 13, 1917, the first of a total of six apparitions took place, which happened till October on the 13th of each month. On 13th May 2017, Pope Francis will visit Fatima and canonize the first two seers to die, the siblings Francisco and Jacinta Marto.

Jacinta was seven years old at the time of the first appearance, and her brother Francisco, eight years. The third seer's child, her cousin, Lucia de Jesus dos Santos, was then ten. Francisco died in April 1919, Jacinta in February 1920 and Lucia in February of 2005. On May 13, 2000 the siblings were beatified by Pope John Paul II in Fatima. The beatification process for Lucia has been ongoing since 2008.

The consecration of the Netherlands to the Immaculate Heart of Mary will take place on the 13th of May in Maastricht's Liebfrauenbasilika during the First Vespers.

Consecration of the Archdiocese of San Francisco

On March 28, the Archdiocese of San Francisco announced in California (USA) that the Archdiocese was to be consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on 7 October 2017. The declaration is signed by Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone himself. According to the Archbishop, "the desire of many faithful" who asked for the consecration of "Our Archdiocese to the Immaculate Heart of Mary".

Archbishop Cordileone recalled the 100th anniversary of the Virgin Mary's death in Fatima. He voted for the consecration on 7 October, because this day coincides with the celebration of the Rosary, an "important day" in which the victorious battle of Lepanto will be remembered. The Rosary, in turn, is closely connected with Fatima.

The Archbishop called on the faithful to prepare spiritually for the consecration so that it could be "fruitful". He announced to the Catechists. He is confident that through the intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, the Archdiocese will be given "rich graces" when "we are spiritually prepared and adequately prepared."

In preparation for the Consecration, a special page was established at the Archbishop's website.

Muslims Attack in Utrecht: "We Will Kill You Christians"

The Hague . A Catholic seminary student from Colombia has been threatened and spat upon in Utrecht by radical Muslims: Brother Jaider Chantré Sanchez who upon just leaving  church on the weekend, while walking alone through the park when two Muslims began to pursue him, cursing and spitting . They are supposed to have shouted, "We will  kill all of you Christians." 

"I was so scared. It is the first time something like  that's happened to me,"    Chantré Sannchez recently explained in the newspaper "De Telegraaf ". "I was told in Colombia, the Netherlands is a tolerant country. But this does not seem to be so," continued the student, who was able to escape. The attacker had apparently been traveling to an anti-Israel demonstration.  Yet Sanchez believes he has an explanation as to why they had become so aggressive, however, with this explanation: "I wore a T-shirt with the logo Nasrani. This is used by the IS-terrorist group in Iraq to mark houses of Christians. Many Christians wear those shirts now in solidarity with their fellow Muslims in Iraq. The logo must have seemed to the two Muslims like a red flag."

The incident causing quite a stir. "When you are wearing a T-shirt and are threatened, anyway, that is unacceptable," said Hans Zuijdwijck, a spokesman for the Archdiocese of Utrecht. The incident shows how heated the social atmosphere is in the Netherlands. So it was in The Hague in the recent days demonstrations, where fans of the IS-terrorists, who murder and pillage in Iraq, as they shouted slogans such as "Death to all Jews". As citizens marched in a counterdemonstration, they were attacked by the Islamists.(Htz)

New Adoption Privileges for Aberrosexual Females in Holland

 (Amsterdam) The Netherlands is expanding the possibility to form various forms of "family" by extending the right to adopt children.   This will make it easier to set up a "family".  The special right of aberrosexual females for the adoption of children has now been acknowledged, says  the Dutch news agency ANP on the 1st of April, but not as an April Fool's joke.  In the Netherlands, new regulations have come into force with which lesbians are privileged. They allow lesbians to adopt the children of their partner in  a special process.

The revision allows both women in a sexual relationship can now be officially called "parents" of children recognize the need to go through without a normal, lengthy and costly adoption process.The same rule does not apply to aberrosexual men, as    the exercise of parental rights of women take priority and can not be transferred to third parties.

The Dutch aberro organization Cultuur en Ontspanningscentrum (COC) adopted the new regulation  enthusiastically. It speaks of a "revolutionary action" and stated that twenty aberro female couples  are said to have immediately made use of the first day into force.

The Netherlands was the first country in 2001, which enacted a law on the equality of aberrosexual couples with civil marriage, and equal rights and obligations of heterosexual couples extended to aberrosexual couples, including the right to adopt children. The amendment to the privileged adoption process for aberrosexual females  is a further success of the militant LGBT lobby. However, it is also opens up another step towards the moral abyss that in the name of ideological slogan "family for all".

[Update] End the “Scandalous” Handling of the Franciscans of the Immaculate -- Pressure Grows

(Rome)  The treatment of the Order of the Franciscans of the Imaculate Conception has become a scandalous case, says Corrispondenza Romana. In contrast, Church internal resistance has been encouraged by some cardinals and by a new international signature campaign, which was launched last Saturday. It is supported in the German-speaking area by Pro Missa Tridentina .

Some cardinals and bishops who appreciate this extraordinary apostolate Order have sent Pope Francis an extensive and detailed documentation on the beneficial action of the Franciscans of the Immaculate  and also the current treatment by the  Congregation of Religious and the Commissioner appointed by them. An "outrageous" treatment of the Franciscans of the Immaculate, who were placed under provisional administration because they adhere to the traditional liturgy and the unabbreviated doctrine of the Church.

Last 4 February the traditional   news agency of the historian Roberto de Mattei Corrispondenza Romana  sent to Secretary of State Pietro Parolin a petition with 8,000 signatures which demands the resignation of the Apostolic Commissioner of the Franciscans of the Immaculate , Fr Fidenzio Volpi.

At the same time, an international petition began on the 8th of February.  It’s a Sign of how much the drastic intervention of the Congregation of Religious is understood in a part of the Catholic Church as a fundamental attack on  tradition and its affiliated communities and believers. The new signature collection is supported internationally by several organizations, this includes the German-speaking Pro Missa Tridentina, in the Netherlands Ecclesia Dei, in Canada, theVancouver Traditional Mass Society , in New Zealand the Ecclesia Dei Society and Una Voce Austria .

With the new international call  "justice and self-determination for the Franciscans of the Immaculate" is demanded. The signatories of the international petition are calling for the restoration of the Order of the Franciscans of the Immaculate Conception or a new status according to their choice. 240 brothers, more than half, have already provided a request last fall for establishment of a new order, without obtaining a response about it from the Holy See.

The petition also calls for full respect and "unmolested implementation" of the Motu Proprio Summorum Pontificum of Pope Benedict XVI., it frees any priest to celebrate in the Old or the New Roman Rite. A legally binding provision for  the Franciscans of the Immaculate Conception is not being respected. The petition can be downloaded in different languages ​​from the website Pro Missa Tridentina  (here is the English version of the petition ). A detailed documentation of the Franciscans of the Immaculate is presented together with the Dutch Association of Ecclesia Die.

"Time to Go Into the Oven" -- Mortal Fright Before Death in Suicide

(Amsterdam) A disoriented world celebrates not life, but death. Of course with ulterior motives. In the Netherlands an eighty year old couple celebrated and danced  and then they killed themselves. Even in the land of the euthanasia the euthanizing of the couple was illegal. But a media campaign insists that no one will be prosecuted. After all, the children were delighted: "It was a great farewell." For  mother it was time "to go into the oven."

David Postma and Willemke Postma-Kloosterman organized a "farewell party". He was 86 years old, she 84 They gathered their four children at their home in the Netherlands, listened to music together, danced to and after they had said goodbye to the children, they killed themselves.

"It was fantastic, a great farewell," the children told the enthusiastic newspaper Algemeen Dagblad about the suicide of their parents. In the Netherlands, euthanasia is legal as active "assistance in dying," as well as the passive "euthanasia". The poison for suicide is, however, a prescription. The certifying physician must consider whether the applicant meets all the requirements prescribed by law. First and foremost, it means that he will be in the final stages of a terminal illness or have to suffer excruciating pain without prospect of improvement.

Police opened an investigation, but the Dutch media have launched a veritable campaign about it that no one should be held criminally responsible, because it was a "great farewell." Although the media doggedly spread the contrary, the last day of the Postma couple was not so "lucky". The parents received the children, "in pajamas". They did not even dress up. "Today there is no need to put on makeup," said the mother, because "it's time to go into the oven", in reference to the impending burning of their bodies in the crematorium.

The "joy" of the children about the suicide of parents  was recalled in the words of Cardinal Elio Sgreccia about the euthanasia law in Belgium that is just as valid for the Netherlands: "Europe has embarked on the road in the genocide car. What happens in Belgium, is the signal for a dramatic loss of humanity, a dramatic setback in the level of civilizational. A  "loss" and "regression" of civilization and humanity, about which responsible doctors have warned. The Medical Society of St. Luke in Belgium warns legislators who currently have to decide on an extension of the euthanasia law to children and the mentally ill: "Attention, the euthanasia law leads to the trivialization of death." But no one seems to listen to them.

Holland's Bishops in Rome -- Holland's "Progressive" Direction "Manifesto" to Pope Francis

(Amsterdam) There are rumors on the progressive wing of the Catholic Church in the German speaking nations, that the Lower German Dutch are to be added. Church Renewal in Holland-- Priestly Formation in TLM

(Amsterdam) The Netherlands were in the grip of an inner-Church rebellion during the second half of the 60s and the rapid dissolution of the Catholic Faith. A phenomenon that was all the more astonishing since the Catholic minority in Holland had shown great perseverance since Dutch independence, which defended itself against a militant, confessional Calvinism. On 13 December, on the Feast of St Lucia, the Seminaryof St Willibrord of the Diocese of Harlem-Amsterdam celebrated it first Immemorial Mass of All Ages.

At Titennergthere is a Philosophy College next to the seminary, which is connected to the Papal Lateran University, the Theological Institute of St Bonifacious for Deacons, Catechists of the Diocese and a center for Catholic social teaching. In Tiltenberg there was originally a Gymnasium (School preparing boys for higher studies) with dormitory which was transformed by the previous bishop into a seminary in 1997.

The first Holy Mass in the "Old Rite" was celebrated for the seminarians by Chaplain Bunschoten. Two seminarians carries out the service of the altar. As the Rector of the Seminary Gerard Beuggnik with the approval of Bishop of Harlem-Amsterdam, Msr Jos Punt explained, the seminary will form future priests in both forms of the Roman Rite, as foreseen by the Motu Proprio of Pope Benedict XVI. In 2007.

In Nobember 2012 an event took place at the seminary Cale's "Liturgy and Sacrum". The speakers were noteworthy members of the Liturgical Movement which had been begun by Pope Bemedict XVI., among them the famous Liturgist Don Nicola Bux and the German Oratorian Fr. Use Michael Lang.

The powerful are only horrified about child-abuse when it can drag the Church in the dirt.

Since 2002 he has been General Secretary of the Ministry for Security and Justice.

Homosexual Rapist?

Yesterday the US-website 'cbn.com' reported that Demmink will resign this week and be honored for his work.

Demmink has been charged for raping two male minors during  a flight in Turkey.

Witnesses Speak Out

On October 4th, witnesses spoke out before the Helsinki Commission at Capital Hill in Washington against Demmink.

"I was afraid to say no -- I was very young an innocent, " said one.

According to reports from 'cbn.com' there was an attempted murder against him, after his complaint became public.

He Finished in a Bordello 

The alleged victim left his family at the age of fourteen,  to seek work in decadent Europe.

There he ended -- not completely unexpected -- in an Amsterdam bordello.  Fro this place of inhumanity he met Demmink.

Already after two meetings, he wanted to take the young Turk with him home in Den Haag.

"Completely Baseless"

The attorney of the victim -- Adele Van der Plas -- explained that Demmink's high position has made it difficult charge him:

"We may have beautiful laws in Holland -- but these don't help, if people from he upper classes abuse children and are not prosecuted."

The Dutch Government has taken the position that the complaints against Demmink are "completely baseless".

Straight to Jail?

A representative of the Dutch Embassy -- H.P. Schreinemachers -- criticized the results of the hearing.

The internet site 'arrestDemmink.com' has appeared.

Its operators also want to impede the honoring Demmink on his retirement.

SSPX Building in Holland: New Chapel

Edit: the following is a report from the SSPX German site on a new, and in some senses symbolic, development.

[piusbruderschaft.de] For almost 25 years the ship "Christina" has served the faithful of the Society of St. Pius X in the Netherlands as a chapel.

In the truest sense of the word, a "church-ship". Only the Society has receeived a new ship in the Netherlands, which will serve them as a chapel.

Leiden is a city with less than 120,000 inhabitants and lies northwest from The Haag. The chapel should, exactly like the church-ship, will be consecrated and receive as its patroness, "Our Dear Lady of the Rosary". The church-ship will lose its function and be decomissioned. Holland: Catholic Grade Schools to be Abolished

School Federation:  "The connection to the Church is already minimal at present" -- Auxiliary Bishop:  This enables the foundation of  "truly Catholic" grade schools, which the state had frequently suspended many in existence with disapproval.

Amsterdam (kath.net/KNA)  A large part of the Catholic grade schools in the Dutch diocese of s'Hertogenbosch will remove the description Catholic during the foreseeable year of 2013.

As the newspaper >>Trouw<< online (Monday) reports, that according to the determination of the scholastic board Signum, a large number of the 24 schools will eliminate the word "Catholic" from its self-description.

"The connection to the Church is already minimal now", stressed the Signum president Jan Timmers.  Of a break with the Church one could not say.  "We have been disengaging from the Church for years", says Timmers.  So, the schools will also celebrate the Islamic Ramadan at some time between Easter and Christmas.  Also the description of the scholastic mission statement will no longer be relegated directly to the Catholic Church, but to the "individuality of each child".

The Auxiliary Bishop in s'Hertogenbosch, Rob Mutsaerts, informed the report the following that it is better to
remove the designation "Catholic", because it doesn't correspond any more to the school's concept and moderating content.

This may enable the foundation of "truly Catholic" grade schools.  Till now the state has denied such new foundations and it has adversely managed numerous existing Catholic grade schools.

Cardinal Eijk Sends Warning to Liturgical Vandals in Holland

Correction:  the person committing these abuses was not actually a priest, but a layman.   It was he/she who was giving the homilies and inviting the laity to pray the Canon of the Mass.

Utrecht (Katolische Nachrichchten) Cardinal Wim Eijk, the Archbishop of Utrecht wrote a letter to all priests, deacons and laymen in pastoral ministry in his Archdiocese which addressed the observance of liturgical norms.  The occasion involved a pastoral assistant [a layman] who had grossly violated the liturgical norms in the Archdiocese of Utrecht a few weeks ago which he committed during Holy Mass in the homily and in prayers in the Canon [Eucharistic Prayer]. The pastoral assistant was subsequently punished by the Archbishop and removed from Missio Canonica [faculties to act as a priest].  Meanwhile, the Cardinal has put him back in office, following his public apology for liturgical abuses and explained his understanding of the importance of keeping the liturgical norms in the future.

Archbishop Announces Canonical Penalties


In his letter, Cardinal Eijk endeavors "to promote general order of the entire Church and therefore to press for the osservance of all ecclesiastical laws" to the canonical obligation of Bishops (can. 392 § 2).  He calls on all pastoral personnel, "to know and observe carefully", the liturgical norms.  He admonished all  "If in the future, unexpectedly, that the current norms for the Sacred Eucharist are violated, then I will not hesitate to impose canonical sentences, and also the withdrawl of Missio Canoninica [faculties] will not be ruled out.

The Archbishop stresses that penalties will be issued to those committing liturgical abuses all the way up to dismissal from the canonical state and lists the proper prcedures in canon law he will undertake in courts trying perpetrators.

Among the abuses he identifies are lay homilies, or attempts to encourage the laity to pray aloud the parts of the Eucharistic prayer.  The Archbishop stresses that these prayers are meant to be said by the priest alone.

He urges that Catholics have a right to object to liturgical abuses and make them known without any acrimony on the part of Diocesan officials.

The letter continues to urge Catholic laity to report liturgical abuses as they occur also to the Roman authorities.

Young Diocesan Seminarians in Holland Are Learning the Immemorial Mass

Holland: Is the End of the Old Liberal Winter in Sight?


The great model of the Old Liberal Conciliar Languor of yesteryear is pulling itself up from the horrors of the Second Vatican Council. [He's referring to Holland, which used to be called the "Showcase of the Church"]

First Mass in St. Agnes in Amsterdam

(kreuz.net) In the Netherlands only about seven percent of Catholics practice their Faith.

This was according to French website 'paixliturgique' in a post.

The website also insists that abuses and scandals[scroll down and watch the Football Mass video] have not abated even in the Netherlands.

Actually the website holds the view that there is little hope for a renewal.

And yet those directing the New Eucharistic Celebration hold the Liturgical norm for the most part.

There is even a substantial current to have the Mass said in Latin.

Deadlock for the Old Mass

As far as the Old mass, 'paixliturgique.org' sees little movement.

In the wake of 'Summorum Pontificum' there was only one regular Sunday Mass in the Old Rite established.

In the entire country there are only two regular Sunday Masses that are the responsibility of the Diocesan structures.

One has been celebrated since  2006 in Amsterdam at the Parish of St. Agnes by the Society of St. Peter.

Father Martin Knudsen  (36) and Pater Andrzej Komorowski (36) have been active there.

On Sunday there are about 120 Faithful and on workdays about 20 highly motivated Faithful.

The other Mass happens in Utrecht in the Church of St. Willibord -- in any case only at 17:30.

The Old Liberals -- the seed bed for the Sedevacantists 
 

Of the nineteen Old Masses -- which are more or less regularly celebrated -- there are only ten in full communion with Rome.

Of those which are the responsibility of the Diocesan structure, there are, besides the two regular Sunday Masses, only four monthly Sunday Masses and four regular weekday Masses.

In some Mass locations outside of the Diocese the Mass is only celebrated occasionally.

Two Mass locations are maintained by the Society of St. Pius X.

The remaining six belong to Sedevacantist groups, which are there owing to the presence of the Old Liberal Conciliar Confusion in the Netherlands.

Old Mass in the Seminary

One little glimmer of hope shines in the Seminaries.

In the Seminary of the Diocese of Haarlem-Amsterdam and the Diocese of s'Hertogenbosch the students will be introduced to the celebration of the Old Mass.

In the Seminary of s'Hertogenbosch the Rector appears to have taken to the Motu proprio "Summorum Pontificum' with good will.

There, Father Gero Weishaupt, the canon lawyer who hails from Germany, celebrates the Old mass three times weekly.

The Seminarians are free to participate in these Masses.

The Rector of the Seminary appears, by reason of his open and liberal inclinations in the past, to have been put under some pressure.

Interest of among the youth

Since 2007 oer thirty -- mostly young -- Dutch Diocesan priests have learned the celebration of the Old Mass.

In the Netherlands, there are about 800 active Diocesan priests.

A recently established liturgical seminar demonstrates the interest of the seminarians for the Ancient Rite.

Extraordinary Jewish Converts Arrested and Sent to Auschwitz

(kreuz.net) After the Pastoral Protest Letter of the Dutch Bishops against National Socialism in 1942 all Catholics of Jewish descent were arrested in the Netherlands.

Among them they found three sons and three siblings of the Jewish Loeb family. They lived as Trappists in two Dutch Cloisters.

The time of their captivity found the Loebs in a brilliant society: Doctors, Intellectuals, educated Dominicans and a great Carmelite, Sister Benedicta a Cruce Edith Stein.

Because of her strong character, Sister Benedicta was the natural leader of the group of deported Jewish religious. The Holy Office and the Rosary was prayed in common.

Witnesses reported that both Loeb priests comforted them and heard their confessions. The Sisters were brave and helpful -- especially to the children.

We don't know anything more than this. The group was sent to the fearful Camp of Auschwitz in Poland. A National Socialist document soberly reported their birth and day of death: August and September 1942.

It was and unconfirmed report from an anonymous letter after that Fathers Ignatius and Nivardus Loeb together with two Polish and two Greek priests were shot, because they had heard confessions.

Father Nivardus, the former assitant of the novice master, called, before the bullets of the firing squad hit him: "For the Novitiate in Koningshoeven!

Sister Veronika Loeb, who contracted a serious case of tuberculosis during their incarceration, was later sent by the SS to the infamous Concentration Camp Westerbork.

Actually after only eight or ten days they let her free again. Her superior sent her thereafter to various hospitals. Finally she died on August 1944 in the Cloister.

The youngest Loeb-brother, Hans, who had not entered into the Cloister, was in any case arrested and was forced to work in a Polish zinc mine.

As the Soviet Troops neared, he was put on an open truck wagon and transported west. He suffered severe frostbite on his feet and died in February 1945 in an infirmary in Auschwitz.

Paula -- the youngest child of family Loeb -- married in Holland. During the war she was hidden in the house of a courageous Catholic in Nijmagen.

She is the only living member of the extraordinary family Loeb.

Dutch Bishop Advocates Defunding of Abortion to Parliament

Roermond, Netherlands, November 4, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) – A Dutch bishop has made waves in the country after he called on politicians to defund abortion in the face of impending budget restrictions, reports French journalist Jeanne Smits.

Several members of the Dutch House of Representatives have complained after Bishop Everard de Jong, auxiliary for the Roermond diocese, sent a letter earlier this fall to each representative along with a plastic 10-week fetal model.

In the letter, the bishop suggested that the government could save money “on the backs of bloody abortion clinics.” The bishop also suggested that given the Netherland’s aging population, the country will need a younger generation to take care of the elderly; however, he said, there is no younger generation because “we have already ‘cleansed’ them” through abortion.

Archbishop Eijk of Holland: Years of Reality for the Church

[Kathnet, Holland]Dutch Archbishop submits that in Holland in the next ten years 1,000 more churches will be closed, 600 protestant and 400 Catholic. The Archbishop denies that they will be used as mosques.

The Dutch Archbishop Wim Eijk sees the next decade as "years of truth for churches". The turning away of belief in the Church will stabilize itself by year 2020, said the Archbishop of Utrecht in an interview with the newspaper "De Telegraaf" (Saturday). At present perhaps 16 percent of the of the population of the Netherlands is Catholic. This will also sink by ten percent. "Catholics, who still practice their faith, are strengthened by the search for authentic Faith," said Ejik.

The Archbishop maintains, that in the Netherlands over the next 10 years, 1000 churches will close, 600 protestant and 400 Catholic. The Bishops deny the use of churches as mosques. Empty churches could be used by other Christian communities, as health care facilities, or for cultural uses. Also, buildings can be demolished, provided that they are not culturally important landmarks.

Eijk, who has led the diocese of Groningen since the end of 2007, attempted to work decisively toward the financial health of the Church in Holland. "Had we not done anything, we would have been bankrupt in the last ten years, and had no more money to pay salaries," he said. Eijk is receiving sharp criticism for savings measures by a group of institutions for priestly education.
