The faithful continually being confused is damaging.
As for Russia, I very much wish them well and that would necessitate standing strong against western dictates. I think those in Russia so opposed to Putin desire decadence.
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4404498638452030181.post-83398553763541317792013-07-30T11:35:37.497-07:002013-07-30T11:35:37.497-07:00I thought Pope Francis' statement was sentimen...I thought Pope Francis' statement was sentimental and confusing. Perhaps not the absolute autocrat as in the past up until 1917, but in the style of the British monarchy but will more power and authority.
It is an interesting fact that most countries (France,Italy,Germany,Austria,Greece, Yugoslavia,Romania,Bulgaria,Hungary,Laos,China, also Brazil) including Muslim ones which discarded their monarchs (Egypt, Syria, Iran,Iraq, Libya, Tunisia, Turkey) which have deposed their Emperors,Shas,Sultans or Kings have undergone 100+ years of economic and political suffering.
Many people think Putin reminds them of a Czar.
There is strong feeling for a return to the Czar...hopefully from the Romanov family. It would be a stabilizing force for good in Russia. Something worth considering in the other countries mentioned too.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
