Pope Francis did not say one word ...No, I read it. Pope Francis did not say one word that permits Catholics who divorced and remarried to receive Communion without having confessed their sin or sins. Not one word from the Pope about that.

The teachings about divorced and remarried Catholics stand in the catechism and Church documents. Pope Francis has not changed any of that.

So if anyone can produce one public statement from the Pope that said divorced and remarried Catholics can receive Communion without going to Confession, then please post it. Of course, no one can do that because no such statement from the Pope exists.

However, what exits is a clear public statement from Pope Francis that divorced and remarried Catholics (who haven't confessed) are not allowed to receive Communion.

Sean McCallum

Sean McCallumnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4404498638452030181.post-56569704878688786312016-07-23T00:52:49.451-07:002016-07-23T00:52:49.451-07:00I just did but you ignored it.I just did but you ignored it.Tancredhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16015531337154301560noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4404498638452030181.post-88486553724969552892016-07-22T18:14:25.714-07:002016-07-22T18:14:25.714-07:00Well, I think I'm not being willfully obtuse. ...Well, I think I'm not being willfully obtuse.
