David Haas Composer of The Liturgical Renewal Accused of Being a Predator

Surrounding me they compassed me about: and in the name of the Lord I have been revenged on them. They surrounded me like bees, and they burned like fire among thorns: and in the name of the Lord I was revenged on them. Being pushed I was overturned that I might fall: but the Lord supported me. The Lord is my strength and my praise: and he is become my salvation. The voice of rejoicing and of salvation is in the tabernacles of the just.

Edit: David Haas is an Dark Catholic crooner who makes really disposal advertising jingles for the Dark Church.  You might even say they are, "intrinsically disordered." He collaborates in part of a destructive, saccharine troika with Michael Joncas (Beagle’s Wings) and Marty Haugen whose music is published in the ubiquitous Gather Hymnal and Oregon Catholic Press.  They were, along with the Saint Louis Jesuits, the mostly aberrosexual troubadours of the Liturgical Renewal.

It is my enormous pleasure to announce that some individuals have stepped forward to accuse the huckster of sexual harassment.

We received this comment two years ago. It’s starting to look like it’s being substantiated:
  1. David Haas is a adulterer who seduced and had "Hotel" meetings with someone who is my best friend for about 1 year. He said he in an email I personally read that he does not practice what he preaches. He did this while he was married and maintained a secret affair. He would play at the church and then play in the back dim lit hallways of hotels with my friend. He and his commercialized music are a disgrace but will say I see why they sell and that's what is all about to him. Nothing but money and sales and secret meetings.

Haas' victims weren't children, but one of them was as young as 19. The Archdiocesan spokesman said:

“In November of 2018, the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis received two reports that Mr. Haas acted inappropriately with two adult women at a recent event in another state. Both women complained that Mr. Haas’ conduct that evening made them feel uncomfortable. Mr. Haas denied misconduct. In 1987, the Archdiocese had received a complaint alleging that David Haas had made an unwelcomed sexual advance toward a young adult woman, which he also denied,” archdiocesan spokesman Tom Halden told CNA.

It's ironic that the propagandist for the Dark Church is apparently only preying upon women.  At present there are no lawsuits, but what is also unclear is what his relationship will be at various High Schools and "Catholic" Colleges he's worked in. Some people are calling for removing his music from hymnals.  Why stop there?  Could this be a moratorium on the so-called Liturgical Renewal?

One thing that isn't going to be immediately noticed by the official Catholic media is Haas' connection to Saint John's Abbey and its abuse of the Liturgy and heterodox teaching.  There is as yet no response from Saint John's Abbey about their fellow collaborator.  The Abbey awarded this song trio (Haugen, Haas and Joncas) with the Pax Christi Award in 2017.  Fellow predator, Father Anthony Ruff, despite being very musical in the new line, also has issues with preying on a subordinate around 2000.   St. John's also dismissed the artistic director of its Boy's Choir. It took a year. This is of course not to neglect to mention that Saint John’s Abbey is a warehouse for sexual predators.

Sounds like he might have to start whistling up "God of Second Chances".

So what happened? The 19 year old girl's mother complained? It's not illegal what he did. And compared to what the clergy does hardly news.

David Haas is finished and it further exposes the hypocrisy of Collegeville, the Liturgical Renewal, the Bologna School, the Hermeneutics of Rupture...

The "woke" Novus Ordo church will be in a panic. It will be imperative to ditch Haas and all of his music.
Whatever will all of those Cantors/Cantresses sing?
His stuff is so pervasive that they might be reduced to singing a few choruses of "Jesus Loves Me this I know" for their Holy Week services.
