Canonization of John Paul II in October of 2013?

Warsaw (kath.net/KNA)  In Poland there is speculation about a coming canonization of Pope John Paul II (1978-2005).  The Polish Catholic News Agency KAI reported  on a possible date in October of 2013 this Thursday.  The source for the unconfirmed information is not named.

In order for the canonization to come, Pope Benedict XVI. must recognize another intercession, it says. It must follow after the beatification of 1 May 2011.  On the 16th of October 2013 will be the 35th anniversary of Karol Wojtyla's election as head of the Catholic Church.

Professor Dariusz Kowalczyk of the Papal University of the Gregorian in Rome has told Polish broadcaster TVP, that it is "very probable" that the canonization will take place in October for the conclusion of the "Year of Faith".  The broadcaster speculates on the date of 20 October 2013.  In Poland, there is great eagerness for a quick canonization of Pope John Paul II.  Initially, the country's media had expected it for 2015 at the earliest.

The canonization process of John Paul II has been the shortest of modern Church history.  The Vatican is testing currently several reports of unexplained healings, which are attributed to the intercession of John Paul II.  The postulator of the canonization, Slawomir Oder, said in May that in three of the four cases had first attempted medicinal examination.  Preliminary to the beatification process, the healing of a French nun in June of 2005 was recognized as a miracle.

The canonization is a solemn declaration by the Pope about the exemplary Christian life of a person and over his final acceptance by God.  After the canonization, which will be completed during a solemn liturgy, the person concerned will be honored worldwide.

And in 2017, the canonization of St. Martin Luther. Tell me that's not possible with his rehabilitation by the recent popes.

If you are on facebook, check out and like this page filled with information and facts about JP II: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Pope-Benedict-XVI-Catholic-Prudence-Counsels-NOT-to-Canonize-JPII-in-Haste/192580334096734

I wrote a comment here about this that turned out to be too wordy for publication, so I put it on my own blog, www.theeye-witness.blogspot.com

But, in general, I point out that the Church is not being careful here in its haste to canonize a man who had some rather serious issues plaguing him.

Please God it will never happen.

Hopefully before this happens God Almighty Himself will strike Joseph Ratzinger dead. I personally would like to see him do it the moment he opens his filthy mouth and tries to Con-anize that forerunner of the Anti Christ anti-Pope Karol Woytiwa with a bolt of lightning in the middle of St. Peter's Square in front of the whole blasted world. Then maybe that WORTHY SHEPHARD PROPHECY of Blessed Thomas of Foligno will come true and God can finally clean house and purge all of these filthy Heretical-Apostate-Judeo-Masonic-Pagan-Protestant-Communist-Modernist-Child Raping HOMO's and all their false ecumenism and all of their sympathizers and weak, sissy counterfeit-fraud Catholics from The Church.

Exactly when in the entire history ofThe Church has anybody who is a saint or who was going to be a saint EVER appeared to people made out of FIRE like anti-Pope John Paul II did?
NEVER!
That's when.
The only people I ever remember reading about appearing made out of Fire were those who were damned and in hell or demons.

One thing people need to remember is that when they (his lackeys) tried to take a vial of that foul blasphemers blood to Lourdes so that people could give honor to that HEATHEN the place got flooded out. It would not shock me even in the slightest if Joseph Ratzinger the current head of the counterfeit Catholic Church which is the Whore of Babylon didn't try to Con-anize all the Vatican II anti-popes in time for the 500th anniversary of St. Martin Loser's revolution. Personally I think that all 4 of them will be declared Novus Ordo-Counterfeit Catholic Church-Whore of Babylon-"saints" for Satan
either before 2017 or in 2017, and I'll tell you right now it would not shock me even in the slightest if it was actually done on the 500th anniversary of that punk Martin Loser's revolt. Four forerunner Anti Christs being declared so called Saints on the anniversary of another anti Christ seems about right. Then they can all go out and celebrate Martin Losers greatness and how cool he was together.

Is it hot enough for you down there "saint" Woitija?
There's plenty of nice cool water up here.
I bet you would like some, wouldn't you?
Looks like praying in those pagan goddesses gardens and telling everybody that heaven hell and purgatory were not real and going and praying with all those other pagan religions and telling everybody they were just as good as Christianity and that the Protestant heresy is just as good as Catholicism and how those Protestant heathens are Christians and letting the High Priestess is of that false goddess Shiva put that sacred cow dung on your forehead and all the rest of that nonsense like kissing the Koran of 1 of your homeboys that child molestor, warlord, false prophet Muhammad (PISS Be Upon Him) who burns in hell with pig dog demons repeatedly sodomising multiple orifices of his body simultaneously. Of course I'm not telling you anything you already don't know seeing as how he is sitting right next to you and John -XXIII and Paul VI. A bunch of blaspheming Satanic pedofiles burning next to each other and getting what you deserve, WELL, was it all worth it blasphemer?

If this happens, it only answers the question: "Is canonization infallible?"
As for the comments of Mr. Anonymous (I'm pretty sure you sound like a man with the initials GP), the kinds of images that you tend to let into your thoughts, and then write them for everyone else to see will surely land you a nice, warm seat next to JPII. You might even earn the position of "mop boy" for the demons!
I'm not in any way defending JPII, VII, Tutu, or doo-doo, just pointing out that you obviously have a sick imagination that should probably be fixed before you go around spewing your pornographic nonsense and leading others into possible sin.

Wow, what a hate filled person 'anonymous' is!

I'm just going to leave up Anonymous' rambling posts, if only to say that I don't have anything to do with him and will be sure to delete any more posts in the future like it.

Rather than vent spleen, I don't understand what they're supposed to accomplish and if anything, they make Sedevacantists look like the venomous and childish individuals I believe they are.

Anonymous said...

I've seen that picture. And there is no proof that it is Pope John Paul II. Ridiculous if you ask me.

Anonymous said...

Wow....you have issues man.

Anonymous said...

Wow....you really do have issues man. Pope John Paul II never kissed the Koran, but a relic of St. John the Baptist. He never said hell does not exist, but that it is more than just fire - it is the perpetual loss of the presence of God, which is even greater than fire. The 'goddess shiva' annointing is nonsense. It amounted to nothing more than a greeting which had nothing to do with the goddess shiva. If you had a brain, you would do some research and not simply repeat the same old lies from sedevacantist websites. Bearing false witness is a sin worthy of hell, and I hope that you will repent soon, because if you don't you will will end up there. Peace.

Pray for not too JPII said...

Yes, he kissed the koran. Yes, he received an annointing greeting by worshippers of a pagan devil. You Novus Ordo types are really something. You are so afraid of the truth that you are willing to lie to yourself. Your response was more absurd than the comments you were responding too.

His beatification was fraudulent and that is a fact. A real saint's life can stand up to the scrutiny. The Modernists and other enemies of the Catholic Church so desperately need a "saint" so that they can have a seal upon the evils that came from Vaticon Twice. And so they shall have one. God help them.

Tancred said...

I was going to say, it looked like a Koran to me. Other than that, a lot of these Sedes tend to uncritically repeat the same lies.

I actually kind of empathize with the more reasonable sedevacantists, although I think it's an unreasonable ideology. But just because a person thinks the man sitting in the Chair of Peter is a fraud doesn't give that person the right to start acting like an animal. It's a sin against charity to make accusations that can't be backed up with facts about anyone, even a "fake pope". And even if there was evidence to support the outrageous claims made by Anonymous, it's scandalous to publicly point out the sins of others behind their backs. It really has nothing to do with sedevacantism, but a lack of true charity. I guess it should be expected, though. How can a person have true charity when the basis of their beliefs is a lack of true faith?

Tancred said...

I followed you until you said "behind their backs". Benedict XVI (or his priests and lay representatives, especially attorneys) , the current Pope, can read this forum for himself, so I'm not sure how that is a legitimate accusation.

Personally, I wish the Pope would start litigating some of these individuals for their defamatory and libelous statements.

Well, he already endorsed the Noachide laws officially on the Vatican's own website - if you doubt me, please visit Orthodox Brother Nathanael Kappner's site www.realzionistnews.org or .com and see his link about it. IT links right to the Vatican's own website where Ratzinger endorses them - the ones that call for the beheading of anyone who accepts the Holy Trinity as the true God and not the Jewish monotheistic definition of God which does not admit the Son or the Holy Ghost. But go ahead and live in your ostrich fantasy world.

St. Robert Bellarmine: “A pope who is a manifest heretic automatically (per se) ceases to be pope and head, just as he ceases automatically to be a Christian and a member of the Church. Wherefore, he can be judged and punished by the Church. This is the teaching of all the ancient Fathers who teach that manifest heretics immediately lose all jurisdiction.” (De Romano Pontifice, II, 30)

Lol. Funny but true.

Last I checked, hell didn't have a monopoly on fire. If that appearance was true (it's not), fire is also a symbol of the Holy Spirit.

I mean, really....

Anyone who expects the man in the papal chair to actually hold the pre Vatican II CATHOLIC Faith rather than Roncalli/Montini/Wojtyla et al's replacement of it by masonic ecumenism/conciliarism is always accused of having 'issues.' This is known in debate as 'ad hominem' attacks - against the man. They don't have a leg to stand on. Cardinal Manning predicted all of this apostasy from Rome (as did our Lady at LaSalette, which the novus ordo abhors for the most part since they don't want to face the satanic gushing over the marxist/leninist UN that their 'popes' engage in) in his PRESENT CRISIS OF THE HOLY SEE four sermons in response to Cardinal Newman's four on the reign of Antichrist. Newman compared it to the reign of anti high priests in the Macchabees. The same might be said of these men sitting in the papal chair, even to the equivalent of putting Buddha on the high altar at Assisi with Antiochus Epiphanes placing Zeus Olympios in the Temple. Same thing, different time - all equal in the eyes of God.

Just call me, Cleopatra, everybody, because I'm the queen of DE- NIAL?

More ad hominem attacks rather than addressing the apostasy of the novus ordo. Oh...I see also "hate filled" - thanks for proving the point, folks. From another person who believes in the Vatican II is the fulfillment of scriptural prophesy of the Great Apostasy as predicted by St. Paul - hardly a candidate for being 'hate filled.' IF ANY MAN PREACHES ANOTHER GOSPEL THAN THAT WHICH WE HAVE PREACHED TO YOU, BE IT US OR AN ANGEL FROM HEAVEN (oh...wait...he WAS a bishop) - LET HIM BE ANATHEMA. MARANATHA. That was pretty 'hate filled.' Good grief.

Looks like that author of this article forgot to mention that John Paul II approved Communist Religion "Theory of Evolution" despite of fact that God is not a monkey and that Adam and Eve were made on the Image of God.

The solemn canonizations of John XXIII and John Paul II would be the strongest argument in favor of the sedevacantist hypothesis - otherwise faithful Catholics would have to accept the insanity that these two - now presumably burning in Hell for public apostasy - are in reality Saints, as DOGMATIC FACTS...in the same Heaven as Pope Saint Pius V and Pope Saint Pius X...these two "popes" are absolutely antithetical to the two Pope-Saints...

The 1967 New Catholic Encyclopedia discusses the theological foundation for the infallibility of canonization: "The dogma that saints are to be venerated and invoked as set forth in the profession of faith of Trent (cf. Denz. 1867) has as its correlative the power to canonize.
St. Thomas Aquinas says, 'Honor we show the saints is a certain profession of faith by which we believe in their glory, and it is to be piously believed that even in this the judgment of the Church is not able to err' (Quodl. 9:8:16).
"The pope cannot by solemn definition induce errors concerning faith and morals into the teaching of the universal Church. Should the Church hold up for universal veneration a man's life and habits that in reality led to eternal damnation, it would lead the faithful into error. It is now theologically certain that the solemn canonization of a saint is an infallible and irrevocable decision of the supreme pontiff. God speaks infallibly through his Church as it demonstrates and exemplifies its universal teaching in a particular person or judges that person's acts to be in accord with its teaching."
