The SSPX Talks Are Not a Failure

The Italian District Superior of the Society of Pius X: "the goal of the talks were never conceived to produce a settlement. "

(kreuz.net)  It is a "judgement afflicted with error", to characterize the talks of the SSPX with the Vatican as broken.

This was explained by the District Superior of the Society of Pius X, Father Davide Pagliarani, on the 26th of July in an interview with the famous website 'blog.messainlatino.it'.

This Danger Never Came to Pass

This impression could only be had by someone whose expectations of the event, were not part of its intent in the first place:

This Dossier is reserved for the Pope and the General Superior of the Society.

"In view of the fact that both commissions worked patiently and essentially touched all of the daily points of order, I don't view that one could hold that the talks were a failure" -- said Father Pagliarani.

For him, the talks would have been a failure, if the representatives of the Society had prepared a proposal, "which didn't exactly express, what the Society believed, for example, if they had said that Collegiality or Religious Freedom which are in the modern world, can be joined completely with Tradition."

Father believes, however, that this fear did not come to pass.

Still A Few Years?

On the contrary Father Pagliarani stressed the importance of the witness of the Society and its mission for the health of the Church and Tradition during its talks with the Vatican.

As related the integration of the Socieety with the Conciliar Church he thinks:

"The canonical situation, in which the Society presently finds itself, is a consequence of its resistance against the errors, which are overflowing the Church."

For that reason the Society depends on the possibility, to reach a regular Canonical situation, not from that in itself, "but rather upon that which the hierarchy accepts the mission, with which it can accept the contribution to Tradition for the renewal of the Church."

If one succeeds at canonical regularization, then it only means "that the Hierarchy it still not sufficiently convinced of the necessity and importance of this contribution."

In this case, one must still wait for a few years.

If the SSPX are canonically regularized is the whole point of the matter!
The SSPX will then be able to absolve sins validly and witness marriages validly, something they are not ablt to do now.

If they recieve canonical recognition the talks will have succeeded and they will be a holer Society, let us pray this happens soon!

They excommunicated the SSPX once unaware of the false premise they could do it a second time not knowing that without a precise, false premise being used by all, the Council is traditional

The Society of St.Pius X ( SSPX) has already been excommunicated once when Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger was the Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF) and there was no clarification on the false premise being used in Vatican Council II. Pope Benedict XVI still may not be aware that the Council can be interpreted with the false premise of the dead being visible to us.They could excommunicate the SSPX a second time not knowing that without a precise, false premise being used by all, the Council is traditional.

The CDF Prefect Archbishop Gerhard Muller expects the SSPX to approve Vatican Council II along with the premise of the deceased saved, are visible on earth. The SSPX was already excommunicated once with no clarification from the CDF regarding this error.

No one in the Vatican seems to notice when Wikipedia (on extra ecclesiam nulla salus) states Lumen Gentium 16 contradicts the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus.Wikipedia and other Internet sources imply that the deceased saved in invincible ignorance and a good conscience (LG 16) are known exceptions on earth to every one needing to convert into the Catholic Church for salvation a taught by the dogma over centuries. They expect the SSPX to admit this - that they can meet the dead on the streets who are living exceptions to Tradition.

Encyclopedias, newspapers and the Internet make this common error about the Catholic Faith. The encyclopedias in English at the Angelicum University, Rome imply that the dead are visible and so Vatican Council II contradicts extra ecclesiam nulla salus.

Due to this error, which makes the Council modernist, the SSPX is rejecting the Council, while unaware of this error the pope and the CDF could excommunicate the SSPX a second time. The SSPX also seem unaware of this issue otherwise their bishops and priests would have made the error- public.-Lionel Andrades

ARCHBISHOP,CATHOLIC PRIESTS AND LAY APOLOGIST SAY VATICAN COUNCIL II DOES NOT CONTRADICT THE DOGMA EXTRA ECCLESIAM NULLA SALUS AND THE SYLLABUS OF ERRORS : "We don't know any case of the baptism of desire or invincible ignorance.Only Jesus can judge"

Archbshop Thomas E.Gullickson has said that the Society of St.Pius X must know that adherence to Vatican Council II and the Catechism does not put them at odds with Tradition.
