What are we to make of such Papal pronouncements? Is His Holiness referring to some small, isolated community of Catholics that no one has ever heard of? Or is this yet another example of Papal wishful thinking?
Where I come from, people are abandoning belief in the Real Presence at breakneck speed. Aside from "traditionalist" circles, in the average American parish I see exactly the opposite of what the Pope sees.
Thanks for the comment. There is actually a lot of Eucharistic adoration going on in circles I live and with various friends all over the USA. It's quite encouraging and the Pope has heard about it, no doubt.

It is more like a eucharistic winter, actually.
